Answered from 585. Rory Goes to a Trump Rally and Will the Youth Protests Spread to Britain? · The Rest Is Politics · 2026-11-03
Alastair Campbell challenged Rory Stewart over a photo of him in a red Make America Great Again cap. Stewart said he wore it after queuing four to five hours with his team outside the Chillicothe, Ohio rally, because he feared being taken for a protester or for someone mocking the crowd, and being refused entry. He saw one lone protester screamed at and another assaulted. In hindsight he called it a mistake, because Americans read the hat as an endorsement of Trump.
