Question

Why does Joe Rogan think progressive politics has become a religion?

Answered from #2574 - Francis Foster & Konstantin Kisin · The Joe Rogan Experience · 2026-10-31

Joe Rogan argued that the left is largely secular and has lost the moral scaffolding, humility and community that religion provides. In its absence, he said, a cause such as climate change takes religion's place and dissenters are treated as heretics. The Triggernometry hosts agreed that religion works as a social technology for cohesion and forgiveness and praised gratitude as a daily practice. When producer Jamie checked, the figures were 78% of Republicans and about 60% of Democrats affiliated with a religion.
