Question

Why did Chris Hansen refuse to sign A24's NDA to watch the movie about him?

Answered from #351 Chris Hansen - Hollywood’s To Catch a Predator Movie: “They Make Me Look Like a Vampire” · The Shawn Ryan Show · 2026-10-26

Chris Hansen said A24 first reached him on 27 May, sending a partial trailer the day before it went public and asking to advertise on his platforms. He replied that he needed to see a script or rough cut first. A24 later offered a screening at its New York offices, but only with a non-disclosure agreement that, he says, would have precluded any future legal action against the studio. His lawyers told him not to sign, so he left without seeing the film.
