What did Chris Hansen say about Roblox and child predators on The Shawn Ryan Show?

Chris Hansen said that during a live CrimeCon demonstration with the YouTuber Schlepp and Louisiana's attorney general, an adult account began sexual talk with them, yet Roblox banned their account rather than his for weeks. Hansen credits Roblox with adding facial age checks and limiting open chats, but says it refuses to let police run investigations on the platform, declined to take part in his documentary, and makes victims sign gag orders when settling. He thinks Roblox should hire Schlepp to run safety instead of banning him.

• Shawn Ryan said Roblox shares fell from $91.70 on 20 November 2025 to $50.62 on 15 September 2026, a 44.8 percent drop worth $28.2 billion.
• Hansen says Florida attorney general James Uthmeier and Louisiana attorney general Liz Murrill have refused to settle with Roblox.
• Hansen says his True Blue partner Sean Reck raised Roblox after his own son was approached inappropriately on it.
