Question

How does Robert Whittaker cut weight for light heavyweight fights?

Answered from JRE MMA Show #187 with Robert Whittaker · The Joe Rogan Experience · 2026-10-22

Robert Whittaker told Joe Rogan that he walks around at about 106 kilos and starts a camp at about 103. He gets down to roughly 220 pounds and then cuts the last 15 pounds in a warm bath in about an hour and a half. He prefers the bath because he can lie still, rest and listen to music. Running or hitting pads while dehydrated wears him out, and long sauna sessions can dry out and burn his oesophagus.
