What is Splash, the US Army's corpse-finding otter on No Such Thing As A Fish?

Answered from No Such Thing As The Otters Circling · No Such Thing As A Fish · 2026-11-05

Splash is a two-year-old Asian river otter trained to find the bodies of missing people, reported by the US military news site Stripes. An Army lieutenant said the exercises had previously used detection dogs and even vultures.
