Answered from #691 - Johnny Hamcheck · This Past Weekend w/ Theo Von · 2026-10-21
Johnny Hamcheck said he invented the name while living at a Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center for six months, where he graduated in 2002. Answering phones at the donation centre, he took a call from an angry person who demanded a manager, so he put a made-up manager on the line and called him Johnny Hamcheck.
“So I put the manager on the phone and I just came up with the name Johnny Hamcheck.” Johnny Hamcheck · at 1:03:07 — open in the transcript →
