Reckless Ben said he first placed a fan, who had a serious criminal record, as a staff member at Provo Canyon School in Utah, and the fan was hired after one interview question and worked there about a month with spy cameras. Ben then got himself admitted as a student at age 30. The school wanted about $50,000 up front, so he posed as his own father, said the money was pending at the bank and claimed a flight to Germany, and he said no ID or birth certificate was checked.

• Ben said the school charged about $1,000 a day and he had about $2,000 in his bank account.
• Ben stayed two days, then climbed a basketball hoop, jumped the fence in 20-degree weather and was picked up by his collaborator.
• Ben said the school closed one day after the video was posted, and that he later saw books being moved to a sister company.
