What did Cain Velasquez say about ayahuasca and 5-MeO-DMT on Shawn Ryan?

Cain Velasquez said he went to his first ayahuasca ceremony with no research because it fell on the anniversary of his brother's death. He said it let him see his family, especially his daughter, more clearly and taught him that a parent's job is unconditional love. On 5-MeO-DMT the next day he described an ego death in which his consciousness seemed to become everything, leaving him with a belief that only one being exists. He has also done ibogaine and psilocybin.

• Velasquez said the change in him was so sudden, with no integration, that his closest family and friends struggled with it.
• Velasquez said he would like to hold a plant-medicine healing session with fighters he once fought.
