Question

How did Sam Tallent lose weight, and what fitness advice did Joe Rogan give him?

Answered from #2575 - Sam Tallent · The Joe Rogan Experience · 2026-11-03

Sam Tallent said he first quit drinking, realising around age 35 that he was hungover and unhealthy, and then went on Mounjaro with close guidance from his wife, who is a doctor. He paid attention to protein and bone density but does little formal exercise beyond cycling, gardening, swimming, yoga and 50 Hindu squats a day. Joe Rogan urged him to start lifting gently to keep his tissue from deteriorating, beginning with 10 push-ups and 10 bodyweight squats a day and building up over months.
