Question

What is the Yellowstone Thorofare hike Colum Tyrrell told Joe Rogan he wants to do?

Answered from #2572 - Colum Tyrrell · The Joe Rogan Experience · 2026-10-29

Colum Tyrrell told Joe Rogan he is planning a solo trip into the Thorofare, the open, rolling country in southern Yellowstone near the lake. It is 40 miles from a road in every direction and home to grizzlies, wolves, elk and probably moose. He expects it to take about eight days carrying everything he needs. He said he wants to do it before he has children, and that marching alone empties his head in a way nothing else does.
