Question

What did Colum Tyrrell say about Tommy Tiernan on the Joe Rogan Experience?

Answered from #2572 - Colum Tyrrell · The Joe Rogan Experience · 2026-10-29

Colum Tyrrell called Tommy Tiernan probably Ireland's biggest comedian ever, a comic who toured Canada, Australia and the US and had a Comedy Central hour. In 2006, asked in a post-show interview whether a joke can go too far, Tiernan answered with a Holocaust joke. A journalist wrote it up as antisemitic, and his US agents and managers dropped him. Tyrrell said Tiernan chose to stay in Ireland, where he still performs and now hosts The Tommy Tiernan Show.
