Which governor races did Democrats win in 2026, according to Pod Save America?

Pod Save America counted a long list of Democratic governor wins. Gina Hinojosa beat Greg Abbott in Texas, Amy Acton beat Vivek Ramaswamy by about five and a half points in Ohio, and Keisha Lance Bottoms beat Rick Jackson by more than eight in Georgia to become the first Black woman governor in American history. Rob Sand won Iowa, and the hosts also named Xavier Becerra in California, Hannah Pingree in Maine, Amy Klobuchar in Minnesota, Jocelyn Benson in Michigan and David Crowley in Wisconsin.

• Cindy Holscher led in Kansas 50.4 to 49.6, and Nevada's Aaron Ford was still uncalled.
• The hosts said the Georgia win blocks a planned Republican redraw of the state's maps next year.
• A Democratic governor in Georgia could also appoint a replacement if one of its senators runs for president in 2028.
