Who does Booger McFarland think is the best team in the Big 12?

Booger McFarland picks BYU as the best team in the Big 12, ahead of Utah and Texas Tech. He does not hold BYU's loss at UCF against them, calling it a tough 2,000-mile trip from Provo to humid Orlando. He thinks Texas Tech is not the team it was last season, with a weaker defense and doubts about Will Hammond at quarterback.

McFarland expects the BYU-Utah Holy War to be fierce.
He credits Houston for an outstanding season that fell a little short.
The hosts add that Texas Tech lost a special defense full of future pros.
