Question

What did Ted Cruz say would happen if Democrats win Congress in the 2026 midterms?

Answered from 2026 Election Night Livestream with the Besties! · All-In with Chamath, Jason, Sacks & Friedberg · 2026-11-03

Ted Cruz told All-In that a Democratic House or Senate would mean near-total legislative gridlock. He expected Senate confirmations to stop, cabinet vacancies to stay open, judicial nominations to be halted, and any Supreme Court vacancy to be held open for two years. He predicted repeated impeachments of Donald Trump, subpoenas aimed at his family, cabinet and business allies, and an impeachment of Pete Hegseth in the lame duck. He also warned that Democrats would go after AI and data centers.
