Question

How does Cowboy Space plan to cool GPUs in its orbital data centers?

Answered from The Space Technology That Could Change History Forever · The Shawn Ryan Show · 2026-10-27

Baiju Bhatt explained that in space heat leaves mainly by radiation, since there is no air for convection. On Cowboy Space's Big Iron satellite the rocket fairing unfolds into large radiator wings. The ammonia left in the electric-propulsion tank, used as propellant to reach the final orbit, is then pumped through the GPUs as a coolant loop that carries heat out to those wings.
