Question

Why does Scott Galloway say the SpaceX-Tesla merger is inevitable?

Answered from Elon v. Kara, Tesla’s SpaceX Lifeline, and Sacha Baron Cohen on Satire · Pivot · 2026-10-23

On Pivot, Scott Galloway argued that a SpaceX-Tesla merger will go through because Elon Musk sits on both sides of the deal, so the special committee formed to study it is mostly show. In his reading Tesla has run out of new stories to sell investors, from autonomy to robots, and folding it into fast-growing SpaceX is the next one. SpaceX shareholders, he said, would effectively be buying the most expensive car company in history at around 328 times earnings.
