3:06Whoop! Whoop! Get some spread. Not gonna get them. Whoop! In Buffalo, where Lamar Jackson made his return. Sorry, Snoop Huntley made his return. Sorry, it was Joe Fagnano from, from, from UConn. Yes, it was third string quarterback Joe Fagnano, not November, in the game, and he struggled to see men downfield, but we will retain his bust accusation until we see more. We know Halloween is over, but QB Squash Allen was playing out of his gourd on Sunday, finding Dalton Pumpkin Cade for a score. And the Ravens defense was left without answers after Roquan Smith tried to turn Josh Allen into Ichabod Crane on the goal line. And the season from hell continues in Baltimore as fans are saying that no means no to watching them play more football.
4:08No one circles the wagons like the Buffalo Bills. Bills 36, Ravens 10. Whoop, whoop. And the Cleveland Browns make the trip to western Pennsylvania to do something that they haven't done in over 30 years. No, not give a quarterback an extension. Sweep the Steelers in the regular season. And Mike Tirico Daudo was looking Italian, letting his hands do the talking, carrying the ball to the house like he still shared it with his mother. And meanwhile, Deshaun Combs Watson has been a bad boy in the past, which seems to embrace his new job as game manager. Did you say game manager or game manager, Boom? Yes. But today was all Steelers as Darnell George Washington took the powder off his wig and put it on his donut,
4:56where, in a touching tribute to Deshaun Watson, he was a big load and his detractors somehow couldn't bring him down. Aaron Glenn Rogers might have some interesting observations about the Jets, but the Steelers' beams appear strong as ever, nearly building seven yards per carry. The Pittsburgh D-line sacked the Browns eight times today, leaving Steelers fans acting like Lizzo's mom, celebrating her big queen. Steelers, 27, Browns, 6. We now head to sunny New Jersey. Memes. In New Jersey, it was a shootout in MetLife as Joe Kirk was finding holes in the Jets' defense like they were his cousins. The Raiders' tight ends had a day as Brockham Sockham Bowers, more fun than a pillow fight, and Michael Myers said,
5:39yeah, baby, as nobody was covering them. The Raiders were asking for Adonai Mitch, cut it out, as he went for seven catches, 142 yards, and a touchdown. Mary Kayden, Ashton Gentry, and Mike Washington. Washington. Damn. Washington. Finished the job and left the Jets with no time on the clock for a comeback. As for Aaron Glenn, tape scout, he's still somehow coaching. Raiders 38, Jets 33. Thanks, memes. We now head to a very rainy Florida with Zach. In Tampa, Michael J. Fox Penix wishes he could go back to the past because his future first half is full of nothing but picks. Alex Cooper and a love zone had Penix calling him daddy with the back-to-back interceptions leaving the Falcons fans and attendance extremely unwell.
6:21Shortly after, Michael Jackson Penix began starting with the man in the mirror. Oh, yeah. Kevin Stefanski asked him to change his ways. Two more interceptions couldn't be any clearer. If you want to put the Falcons in a better place, take a look at the bench and make a change. Also in this game, Baker's dozen Mayfield may have dropped the donut on the day, passing for zero yards and for zero completions, but he was able to hand it off to Aunt Becky Irving, who rushed into the end zone through a full house of defenders, the milkman and the paperboy. That's six points added to the bottom of your screen during this noon-slight game. No evening TV. And if we're talking uprights, police Chase McLaughlin was hitting high speeds from below the knees.
7:01That's Tampa Bay's leading scorer on the day. You have the right to remain scoreless. Any fourth down and field goal range will be used against you in the court of the NFC South. If you cannot afford a special teams stop, one will not be provided to you. With these rights in mind, do you wish to hold this L? Atlanta 0, Tampa 16. Thank you, Zach. In Cincinnati, where the bottom dweller Titans saw Clam Ward come out of his shell and show some muscle as he went deep over and over for 300 yards. And he and Tony Pollard-Green stuffed the end zone in a points fiesta. Joe Burrow, row, row your boat, almost capsized the Bengals on a few different occasions, throwing three picks in the game. But these Bengals are a bunch of dogs.
7:43And in the second half, Burrow found his groove. Rolling down the street, smoking Indo, sipping on Higgins and juice. As he found T for two scores. And when he wasn't open, the Bengals offense still lives in luxury. As Jamar DeLago Chase found the end zone as well. In overtime, he called his own number. As Bengals fans screamed, We did it, Joe! And Cincinnati holds off the Titans, 43-36. Whip! Whip! We go to Arlington, Texas as Arizona Cardinals and Dallas Cowboys was a matchup of A.C.D.C. And back in Dak, he took a sack. Under stress, DC, and back and back. He took a sack. Under stress, the fans won't be back. The Cowboys had an early lead behind Flournoy, who was a Ryan Stone cowboy. But they've heard this song before,
8:35as Gardner, Minshew been gone. Yeah, yeah, the Cardinals win for the third time. If Minshew fits, he comes in for Jacoby Briscette, who led a low and slow offense before getting pulled out to rest. And Minshew came in and unlocked Tyler Algeria, who is very comfortable representing the desert. Michael Rebel Wilson is on those GLP-1s. Gardner leads Prescott by one. It's a whap, whap. Oh, no. Chad Epstein Ryland should have been released a long time ago after that kick, but it's okay. He made the last one, so he'll probably not ever be released ever. Cardinals 33, Cowboys 30. We head back down to Florida where Hank was there for Dolphins Patriots. In Miami where it was pouring rain and had Mike Paul Vrabel looking like a wet water dog.
9:28In the second quarter, Malik Denzel Washington said, man, gotta be fine. Finns gotta be the Finns. After catching a TD pass from Malik, what you talking about, Willis? To put the Dolphins up 13-3 at the half. In the third quarter, Kyle Williams Wallace said, all men die, but not all men live. That's why I dropped the ball in the end zone to make people think the pass was incomplete. It wasn't, and the Patriots cut the lead to three. Then, back in the red zone, Drake May handed one off to Ramond J. Steve. What? What? What? What? No, he didn't. He kept it himself to give the Pats a lead.Daniel was back at it again with the shitty offense. And Justin Timberlake Herbert was saying, I'm bringing Pixies back.
10:30Yeah. I love to throw at two defensive backs. Yeah. Coach thinks I'm special and I think he's on crack. Yeah. I throw a pick or I'll take a sack. Yeah. It was also a slow start for the Rams until Byron Williams said, Sup, baby? Take me to the end zone. A-O. To deliver the game's first touchdown right before half. But then it was all Rams led by Pupa Nakua, who was shitting on the Chargers defense, finishing the game with 11 catches and a ton. Rams 24, Chargers 9. Thanks, Max. We finish in mile high where Emmitt Ernie Johnson was TNT as he caught a 73-yard touchdown pass from Shaq Trick Mahomes and jetted down the sideline, making the Broncos' defense want to retire in the first half. And it looked like the Broncos were going on life support
11:25after mahomes found dr noah meredith gray in the end zone dropping his anatomy on the donkey secondary i actually never watched that show teach but i know chicks like it suck but they forgot about fourth quarter bow as everybody was answering who is that tight end as nate ad ken jennings put the game back in jeopardy and Bo took them back down the field telling the restless crowd, you enjoy myself, as he found Jonah Cole. Man, God, shit. Watch your feet drive me to forensic. Off to another Broncos victory. Broncos 28, Chiefs 24. And that was our week eight in the NFL. The fastest two minutes brought to you by Chevy. Football season is here. Whether you're grinding through the week or gearing up for kickoff,

Check out current offers on the 2026 Silverado at chevy.com. Okay. Week eight in the books as we wait for Sunday night football, we're going to be recording throughout Sunday night football. We'll give you some updates as we go. We don't have any more undefeated teams anymore. So pop. Do we have a champagne pop sound you can play for us, Max?
12:58Yeah, I used to always love when Chris Berman would do that. The 72 Dolphins. Mercury Morris. R.I.P. Pop that champagne. I saw a picture of larry zonkin today with a nice cigar healthy cigar glass of champagne yeah it's uh the vikings have lost they love to talk they love to remind people about the 72 season yeah i would too yes if it happened to me i would do the same thing all right here we go ready hit it there it is that's pretty good that's it that's the dolphins right there so let's start there by the way the craziest part about uh the vikings losing today is that i i think uh jj mccarthy has the longest active winning streak for a quarterback with five straight that is kind of crazy yes wait what do we pop when a team finally when the chargers finally win a game uh i think
13:43flush a toilet do the hugh jack Hugh Jackson gets up from the shitter? Do the automatic flush. All right, so let's start with that. Vikings, Lions, Lions 19, Vikings 15. Turns out, I don't want to say that the Lions figured out the Vikings defense because the Vikings defense did hold a very good Lions offense to 19 points and frustrated them for the majority of the game. But the one thing that could maybe kill a blitz is Jameer Gibbs being absolutely sensational. And that was what happened in this game because it was a tight game. It was a close game. And then at the end of the game, the Lions ran 11 of their last 13 final plays were run plays. I think mixed in there was the JMO touchdown. And Jameer Gibbs was phenomenal.
14:29153 yards, touchdown. He's an absolute beast. I can't, like, you remember the tweet that was going, that goes viral when it was like, Shohei Otani and Mike Trout both, you know, did something that's never been done before. The Angels lose 11 to 3. That's Jameer Gibbs except the Lions win because Jameer Gibbs, he's only the fifth guy ever to have 1,000 yards from scrimmage and 10 touchdowns in the first seven games of a season, joining Christian McCaffrey, Edron James, Dickerson, Jim Brown, pretty good company. He's got 1,058 yards from scrimmage and 10 touchdowns through seven games. He is an absolute monster. Every single week it feels like he breaks some type of record. And that was, like, the story because he was the hammer at the end of the game.
15:15And also, by the way, Vakai, their new David Montgomery, also ran really hard. And that was, I feel like, the big... Because the Vikings did what they do. They blitzed. I think they broke the record, their previously held record from last week. So they blitzed 26 of 29 dropbacks, which is... Insane. 89.7%. So they broke their own record from last week on that one. They did a really good job in the first quarter. They kind of kept... Their blitzes are weird because I've seen a lot of the graphs and the stats the stats of like how much time brian flores gives you to throw versus like what happens to those passes what he does is he confuses you with the blitz so the quarterback freezes in the pocket and then the pass rush gets to him eventually yeah um it's not like it reduces
15:58the time to throw by that much today jared golf looked very confused in the first quarter yeah and they kind of figured something out and then then as the game went on, it became apparent that what Dan Campbell wanted to do was just control the clock. Control the clock. So he kept the defense on the field. It was weird. It's like we want to keep their defense on the field for as long as possible. We want them to throw all these blitzes at us. Eventually, they'll get tired. And especially if we're able to run the ball. They called screens at the right time. They called that weird little trick play to Amon Ross St. Brown. It was arena football. It was CFL football. He lined up 15 yards off the line of scrimmage
16:31and then hit him with a full head of steam coming at the cornerback. Technically a run in the box score. Definitely a run in the box score. But, yeah, it was just about like Jameer Gibbs, he's going to wear you down and by the end of the game you're going to be so tired from chasing him that he's going to get behind you. Yeah, because you saw it. The Vikings defense kind of ran out of gas. Again, they played well. If you say the Vikings defense is going to hold the Lions offense, who is one of the best offenses in the league to 19 points, you'd be like, okay, they did their job. But at the end, you could tell, missing a couple tackles, Jameer Gibbs, being able to run through the line. That was,
17:07that was the game plan. And they, they put, they did it perfectly. He ran the ball 23 times. Like I said, 153 yards. He's so explosive. And the lions, the lions defense also played well. We should mention. I don't, I, we don't have an update on Jack Campbell. That was really, really scary. He got, uh, stretchered off. It looked like a really, really scary. He got stretchered off. It looked like a really bad back injury. I hope he's okay. I hope everything. They haven't given us any updates. I just saw that he was in the hospital undergoing tests. It was really, really scary. But the Lions defense played well today. They held their own, and they did a good job. They did, except there was one play where two guys knocked each other out.
17:46It was Brian Branch, and he knocked his own guy out on that one. But then, yeah, DJ Reed had an awesome game today. Okay, so Jack Campbell is resting and will remain in local hospital tonight for a continued evaluation and monitoring. The team will provide further updates as we have them. Yeah, we just want to know if he's able to move because it was one of those injuries that guys were crying. It was one of those injuries that it's insane that we go back and play football right after. And I don't know how they do it. It was just really, really scary. And it was weird, too, because at first they had another guy they were talking about getting injured on that play, and then they came back and they're like,
18:24oh, actually Jack Campbell's getting a stretcher yeah so it was bad like aiden hutchinson was crying on the field and then he hit kyler murray on the next play it was crazy he was able to like get back in and and focus like use it as motivation i don't know but it was you're right it was one of those moments where it's like i don't know which team is going to be able to focus after this or which team should be able to. Nobody should be able to focus after something like that. But at the end of the day, you have to. Yeah. By the way, Max, you're pulling up fake tweets. I don't understand the people who are like, hey, let me put out some real disinformation about a guy getting hurt that bad. But for some reason, Twitter has a million of them.
19:01And it's just like so ridiculously. I don't want to be like stickler or a hard-ass here, but it is disgusting to be like, hey, some guy got really, really badly hurt on the field. Let me throw up some fake AI tweets about his update. Yeah. It's just weird, bizarre behavior. For the Vikings, I think we can officially say they have a Kyler Murray problem. Yep. so you could say by watching this game and kyler overthrowing underthrowing never being in a rhythm he did have that uh deep ball to jordan addison i would say that the sign that kyler murray we have a kyler murray problem is that justin jefferson who is the most even keeled superstar wide receiver you could imagine who by the way had an unbelievable superstar wide receiver you could imagine, who, by the way,
19:45had an unbelievable catch for a touchdown in the first half, I believe. Justin Jefferson never complains. Justin Jefferson never shows emotion in a bad way. He is like the most ride or die, good soldier type of guy. Justin Jefferson has caught passes from Kirk Cousins, Sam Darnold, J.J. McCarthy, Nick Mullins, Sean Mannion, Josh Dobbs, Jaron Hall, Kellen Mond, Carson Wentz, Max Brosmer. Justin Jefferson has reached his point where he's like, what the fuck is going on? So that would be my point with being like, maybe there's a Kyler Murray issue. It was a great catch that he had today. Kyler needs to use his feet more. That's number one. Well, he did have a hamstring at the end of the game. He did at the end of the game.
20:26But when he was running the ball, the offense looked okay. It looked like they were serviceable at times today. And then as the game went on, he kind of stopped running. He hit – like the only real threat that they had on offense in the passing game was TJ Hawkinson played pretty well. Yeah. And he looked to be open most of the time. But, yeah, a big part of their game plan should be, I know KOC is a genius, but I think he needs a dumber guy standing next to him sometimes to just be like, hey, just throw the ball towards Jefferson and let him catch the ball. I'm no longer going to call KOC an offensive genius. He's supposed to be. He's supposed to. He needs a dumb guy. He's a very good coach.
21:02He needs a meathead like us. One guy being like, hey, just throw the ball up and let the best receiver in the world catch it. Yeah. So the Vikings offense is the 31st offense EPA per play, and they're the second best defense EPA per play. They're 29th in yards per game, 30th in passing yards per game, 31st in offensive TDs per game. Can I throw out a crazy, crazy thought? So the trade deadline is when it's next week november 10th i want to say is that correct maybe next it's like a two it's like 10 days away i think it's tuesday november 10th i believe it is at 4 p.m eastern a lot of talk about jonathan taylor getting traded maybe to the vik What if I told you the Vikings could trade for a –
21:50so Kyler so far this season has four touchdown passes, zero rushing touchdowns. What if I told you they could trade for a quarterback that has 18 touchdown passes and a rushing touchdown? Would that be something you think you'd be interested in if you were a Minnesota Viking fan? Possibly. Kirk Cousins. That's what I said. I thought that on Thursday. It's like, Kirk's not bad. Yeah. Kirk is exactly what you need. It's funny because... He's an outdoor cat today. The offense finally... When Kirk was playing for the Vikings, the knock knock was like he can't make you win he will you will have a very average year maybe even slightly above average but when he plays against a bad team he will no longer be above average when it counts he'll be just average kirk they
22:35would kill for like an average kirk cousins he also you defense was never that good as it is now when he played yeah and it's like it's not like the raiders have an unbelievable running game that is hiding kirk cousins so i yeah i i don't know i mean would the raiders would trade them right i think they're committed to it depends on what they get that's the what about what about a straight up one for one deal kirk cousins for carson west i think that kirk cousins the raiders should want to trade kirk cousins to the the Vikings to get something, if it's a good deal. I mean, where does the conversation start for Kirk Cousins? I think it's probably, Hank, you're our trade expert. You're the one who told us that Justin Herbert would go for a third,
23:16no, a fifth, and you'd throw in a third. Yeah, it might be lower now, but yeah. Okay, so what would you say uh what what would your kirk cousins trade offer be a third a third so he's the same as justin herbert yeah well i guess not throwing in the fifth minus the fifth yeah yeah who do the let me see where can i find what the vikings have for draft picks coming up? Isn't he on his contract? You're not getting how long is his contract? Maybe next year. I forget. I think it's one or two years. The Vikings have their first, second. They have two thirds. One from Jonathan Grenard deal with the Eagles. They don't have one in the fourth. And then they have three fifth round picks. Kirk is on a one year deal.
24:05Maybe they could trade back for J.J. McCarthy. So be it rental. Yeah, can we say my bad? Yeah. Oh, look at the fine print. We said there are backsies in this trade. If he wants to come back. If he wants to come back, I'd say he probably wouldn't. What if they're like, we'll give you nine? Yeah, then he would probably have to do it. You're stuck wearing 18 in New York. Yeah, they'd have to do it. So, yeah, I don't know. I do think it's probably at a point where you're like, you have an incredible defense that's a Super Bowl caliber defense, and you just need like a B-plus offense. Like a B offense. You know who looked pretty good in purple. Who? Confirmed. I already know he looks great in purple.
24:51Joe Flacco. Oh, they're going to say Joe Fagnano. Well, we can have the Flacco conversation again. But yeah, Flacco would look good as a Viking. Flacco would look good as a Viking. Right? Damn. You'd have to trade Kyler because you can't bring in someone who's a full foot taller than him. That would kind of fuck everything up. That'd be bad. Yeah, but I was impressed with the Lions. The Lions are good. I mean, they're just a good football team, and that was a game that everyone was like, oh, man, what are they going to do against this Blitz? And they found a way. I think just running the football. That has to be their identity now. They can still do that. I'm you in this they have another montgomery i know he's
25:28not as good as montgomery but vakai was he was he was popping like he was he was running hard was 11 for 65 yards actually i think it's really important for detroit to be able to win these kinds of games where they don't have to score a million points yeah it's going to be very good for them as they as they go down the stretch we think any – what do we think about the – so the punt was a talking point. The Vikings punted 4th and 5th on their own 33 with 3-0-1 left. The bots and the analytics simulators all were like this was the worst punt ever. I don't know. When you have a really good defense and your offense cannot get five yards, I don't see it as the worst punt good defense and your offense cannot get five yards i don't
26:05see it as the worst pun ever they never got the ball back that part sucks but they also they do they are a defensive team right i agree i agree that i probably would have punted there it's asking a lot for your defense but that also is kind of the deal with the vikings you ask a lot of your defense i probably would have punted there it feels like if you're going up against Dan Campbell, you feel like lesser of a man in those types of situations because you know that he'd go for it. So you have to just be committed to what your analytics, what your nerd says. And I would trust my guy on this one. Fourth and five on your own 33. Kyler can't really do much. Yeah, I'd punt it. Yeah. All right. Anything else on this game?
26:47Kyler's got, he just looks so small. The whole division's really good. Yeah. The NFC North is just. Didn't love the Lions jerseys. Oh, yeah. Lions jerseys. We had two bad jerseys today. It was the Jaguars and the Lions. The Lions, they look like the Panthers. I don't know why they're doing that. Lions also just have a great, they have a great color set. Yeah, they don't need to do anything. That helmet that they wore today, that's a helmet that should be in an office somewhere. Yeah. On display. It should not be on a football field. Same with the Jaguars. I kind of like the Jaguars. I disagree about the Jaguars. But it's not a real helmet. It's not a real NFL helmet. But that's the Jaguars.
27:15The Jaguars don't really have uniforms. Yeah. The Jaguars have uniforms. I feel like they wear a different one, like four different uniforms every year. Yeah, that is true. The Jaguars can wear whatever. It's just like whatever yeah jaguars but the lions like you have great uniforms you have a great logo yeah don't fuck around with it agreed okay uh next up the little brother is still the little brother steelers 27 brown six uh the most little brother energy possible from the from the from the browns to get into this game we mentioned on friday that 1988 was the last time the browns swept the season series against the steelers and this is also the 23rd straight regular season game that the browns have lost in pittsburgh 23
27:57straight is insane i now obviously you get the the covid baker mayfield playoff win thrown in there which is significant but 23 straight regular season games in pittsburgh and you haven't won that's nuts it's really bad that's like you luck into one eventually the browns they started to feel themselves a little bit too early this year and they suck at the beginning of games you're adverse before the game just being like yeah it's a dirty team i don't like playing against Not great. Like giving them more bullets and more material. The Steelers' offensive line was awesome today. Yeah. And their defensive line was really, really good. So the strength that the Browns had was their defense. Their defense didn't really show up.
28:36And their offensive line got manhandled by T.J. Watt, Nick Herbig, and who else got on the board? Somebody else got a couple sacks. Alex Highsmith was everywhere. Yeah, Queen might have gotten a couple sacks. Yeah, eight sacks of Deshaun Watson. Herbig and who else got on the board? Somebody else got Alex Highsmith was everywhere. Queen might have gotten a couple. Yeah. Eight sacks of Deshaun Watson. By the way, there are Aliquippa, which is a high school, has 10 wins at Heinz Field slash Accresure Stadium. And the Browns have two. Yeah. Just going to throw that out there. There's like I have a list of Pine Richland has five wins at that stadium. They're also a high school in the Pittsburgh area.
29:08Browns have two. But yeah, it was, the Browns cannot, they start every game slow. They're now, in the first quarter of this season, they've been outscored 65 to 13. Every game slow, and they hope their defense can keep them close and Deshaun can be a hero in the fourth. The Steelers just like squash that out, including that. I got to give credit. Mike McCarthy, was he looking a little fat? Yeah, he always is looking a little fat. But ballsy move at the end of the half to do the push-tush with no time, like, two seconds left, where it's like you get no points if you don't get this. I don't think they had any timeouts. That was an anti-Mike Tomlin move. I don't see Mike Tomlin doing that. He takes the points in a divisional game.
29:51You take the points all day. Because you know what? This is going to be a field goal game. If you spend all week saying, hey, this is going to be a field goal game, funny how it usually ends up being a field goal game. Yeah. It was a smart move. I liked it. It was aggressive. I feel like with that formation that they have with Pat Fryermuth running it in and Aaron Rodgers just standing still. We should nominate Aaron. Can you put this? We need to nominate Aaron Rodgers for Cuck of the Year Award for his performance on Tush Pushes where he just stands and watches with his hands in his pocket. Yeah. But I feel like that play always works when you have Pat Fryermuth, a tight end who's strong as fuck, and then you've got two other guys pushing him. Yeah that play always works When you have Pat Fryer with a tight end Who's strong as fuck
30:25And then you got two other guys pushing him Yeah, it always works And it made up for some really bad Play calling at the goal line I wrote this down, it didn't end up mattering But the Steelers, they're just obsessed with Goal line fades On first and second down They did it When we had the game parlay, we were looking for Jalen Warren to get a run, and they just like goal line fade, goal line fade, run for one yard, field goal. They did that in the first quarter, I think, and it was just like, what the fuck are they doing? They do like the opposite of what we used to criticize coaches for doing. They're like, go and run, run, pass. They'll go pass, pass, run all the time in those short yards.
31:02They love trying to get the ball to D.K. Mack. And D.K. with one of the worst drop interceptions so bad that i've ever seen today so bad it's i don't know what happened did he get too strong is he so strong now that he can't catch a ball i don't know i think it might be one of those things like david boston had that but it's you get you get uh muscle even your hands get muscle bound well now it's like the colin coward like we're good now we're remember when he did that we're good now lebron because we have ben simmons i feel like that when i watch darnell washington catch i'm like we're good dk yeah we got a guy who's just physically imposing and can catch the ball and big body everyone in his path because that's what
31:38happens every time darnell washington catches the ball yeah it's just like he catches the ball and it's just instant i can't wait to see which person he puts through the center of the earth's crust. I want to say there should be a channel like red zone, but it's just a closeups of Darnell Washington in real time. Yeah. Like live, a live feed of Darnell and what he does on every play, because you're right. Like there's nothing better than watching him run with a football, even when he's not stiff arming guys, even when he's running. Yeah. It's just, it's fun to see a guy that's that big run that fast yeah uh i also liked how did georgia ever like not score a touchdown when he they had uh darnell and brock
32:15bowers at the same time they did win a lot of they won a lot of football they won two two national titles how did that drive how did they ever have a drive that didn't end in a touchdown they won a shitload of football games yeah stetson Bennett, the chosen one. Stetson Bennett, remember Jerry watched one game of football. He watched Georgia versus TCU, and he's like, how does Stetson Bennett not go 1-1? You want to play a quick game of regrettable quotes that you probably shouldn't say from Zion Johnson, the offensive lineman for the Browns. He said, we can't let the quarterback get touched that much. Well, no, fact. Actually, that is a fact, yeah. Yeah. I would say not regret it. He's actually being –
32:53Spot on. I don't know if he's talking about the game or in life. Yeah, no, spot on. Don't touch Deshaun Watson. Spot on. Yeah. We can't let him get touched that much. He went to the blue injury tent today for a little bit. Yeah, we saw a little Shaduss. A little Shaduss-y guy in the game. Yeah. I thought we were going to get a lot more Shaduss-y. Oh, here's a regrettable quote for Deshaun Watson. Put the sacks on me. Well, again, that's... Maybe that's a Peyton Manning training table kind of situation. I would say that's more of like... Put the sacks on me. You don't want people around Deshaun saying that. Yeah, but he wants the sacks on him. Have the Browns learn? Pause. Yeah. Party at fours.
33:29I'm starting to get... We talked about it. This was the battle to see who was good-ish or can elevate to good-ish plus. I think the Steelers are good because Jalen Warren is really good. The Browns stink. They might go to the playoffs still because they have an easy schedule. goodish plus i think the steelers are are good because jalen warren is really good the browns stink they might go to the playoff still because they have an easy schedule but this team they they they're not they're they're it's because their defense has not been as dominant as soon as their defense starts to to wane it's like oh yeah we do have deshaun watson as our quarterback and he starts so slow in every game it's it's I believe, negative one yard in the first quarter.
34:07It was so bad. And the offense as a whole just didn't do anything all day. It's not like the fourth quarter Browns had been a thing. That didn't show up. They practiced with Renegade this week. Oh. They blasted Renegade to get ready for going to Accresher. And it didn't work, obviously. Nothing happened in the fourth quarter. The Steelers, I think the Steelers are good. Yeah, no, it's Jill Warren. And they're good at home. I believe they're 4-0 at home. Yeah, I think that tracks. I think so. Because they have a formula now where it's not – the formula used to be just kind of like play shitty football and then hope that T.J. Watt can get a sack fumble and put you in scoring position. Yeah. Now they have TJ Watt and the entire rest of the defense playing really well.
34:50And they have an offense that has an identity. They can run the football. That's it. And Aaron Rodgers can manage some stuff. Jalen Warren is a top five running back this year. And it's like watching him play that. That changes what I think about the Steelers. Because the Steelers of the past few years is like, how are you going to move the football? And the answer was, we don't know. We were going to throw a bunch of screens. And if we get into a third and 10, we're going to throw a pass for five yards and have our player get tackled by 16 defenders. Now they have Jalen Warren and he is electric and he has the pop, and Rico Dowdle was running well, too. So, yeah, I think they have, and like, Aaron Rodgers can
35:30still make a lot of the throws, just some of, you know, DK Metcalf drops him, and, you know, yeah, I think these are different than the Mike Tomlin Steelers we've watched for the last five years. I would agree. I also want to get all the mic'd up between Mike McCarthy and Aaron Rodgers in the back and forth, because there was a moment today where they had that little do-to-do, where I think it was at the end of the first half, where McCarthy was calling some plays, and Aaron Rodgers was just looking at him, and you could tell in his eyes. He was looking at the huddle and being like, can you believe this guy's shit right here that he's trying to pull on us? I would love to hear, actually, what the mic'd up between those two is.
36:04I would like to, this is kind of a weird thing to say, but I just thought of it during the game when I was watching and they zoomed in on Mike McCarthy. Do you think a UFC champion could do a rear naked choke hold on Mike McCarthy and make him tap? Because I don't. His neck is so thick. I don't actually think you could choke him out. I think a heavyweight. I think he has defense. I think a heavyweight could do it. I don't his neck is so thick i don't actually think you could choke him out i think i have you i think he has defense i think a heavyweight could do it i don't know i don't think so it does it's not even a neck really either i'm thinking take it's kind of just fused to his shoulders his neck might be a diaz brother look at it it doesn't he doesn't have a neck it
36:40might be impossible yeah you can't be like oh mike mccarthy gave up his chin what are you talking about there is no chin to give up it just it's his mouth kind of just ends up in his chest like impossible to knock out like butterbean yeah he just has to take a bunch of shots max is actually trying to physically think about it yeah i think if you lifted his head i don't think there's anything under there i think it's more neck and then and like his chest but like if you go like if you go uh yeah i think if you lifted his chin it would just be chest what if you had like a turkey leg that you dangled above his mouth so he would like lift his mouth up open his mouth you're not talking into the mic yeah but you know what i'm saying you can't yeah yeah yeah you know
37:21what i'm saying like if he was looking up he he exposes his neck. I don't think there's a neck there. Yeah, that's what I said. That's how you get in there. Like if you dangled some trees. You can figure out a way to do it. If you lift his neck up, it just is a sign saying, here's Mike McCarthy's chest. Do you think if we ever interviewed him in person, we could test this theory? Yeah, just be like, let me... Zach's last rowback question. He'd just be like, hey, coach, can I just get my arm around your neck real quick and just see what it feels like i think you'd have to pinch his nose yeah like the way around it like a dog with hiccups you gotta cover the nose yeah i think it's how you tap them that's
37:53how you choke him out yeah just fill his nose with putty i like it oh just something to think about mike mccarthy and take that picture oh i don't like that. They're doing the America's pick football night in America. Cross the board commies. I don't remember the last time I've seen that. It feels like I've never seen that in my life. Waiting all day for Sunday night. This is a peak Mike Francesco rant game. Remember his famous rant? He's like, that's so stupid. No one waits all day for Sunday night. You watch football all day. It's true. It's good. Really good rant. He's like, that's so stupid. No one waits all day for Sunday night. You watch football all day. It's true. It's a good rant. It's a really good rant.
38:29Can you pull up his rant real quick? This is going to be so terrible, Max. It's such a good rant. It's such a bad game. It's such a bad game. It's such a mean game because with the Cowboys losing like they did today, if we win, I'm going to think some stupid things. Don't. You've been thinking them. No, I haven't. I haven't. I can't. You refuse to accept the fact that your team fucking stinks. No, I just said I will think stupid things. You want to win. I do want to win. And you'll be back. Yeah, why wouldn't you? I want to win. I want to win, too. I'll think stupid things. I want to win, too. But no, the way that we've looked has given me a great reason to not think stupid things. So I haven't been.
39:14This is not good. Max isn't going to find it. He's one of our worst Googlers. What do you want? I did Francesa rant Sunday night football. What else do you want me to search? Waiting all day for Sunday night. Yeah? Waiting all day for Sunday night. I think Blutman's tweeted it. Oh, yeah, there you go. All right, so anything else on this game other than, oh, Harold Fannin is a stud. And also a reminder, Maction is back this week. Yeah. So Maction's back. Listen, I know like Sunbelt and some of these other Conference USA have tried to take over the week. Maction is the true weeknight football. It's November. That's when we play Maction. That's when we get some weird shit going on. All right, do you have it?
39:59It's seven and a half minutes. All right, so then we don't have it. Okay. That's fine. But everyone should go look up the rant. It was great. It was a fucking great rant. Okay, next up, we can go quickly on this game. Bills, 36, Ravens, 10. Joe Fagnano. We're doing it. I'll tell you what. Joe Fagnano, those first two passes he threw, I thought he was going to be playing in the NFL for 15 years. And then he played the rest of the game. And Joe Fagnano, I don't think is an NFL quarterback, but he might, you know, listen, he, he has to probably play Thursday night. And they asked him if he's healthy enough. He said, I think so. For a second, you had to squint really hard, but for a second, you thought, is that guy, is that a mix of, uh, of Joe Flacco and,
40:44um, Chase McSorley out there yeah i thought to myself for a moment yeah there's something about fagnano there really is there was i just trusted him the way he was out there i was looking forward to all the fagnano versus lamar jackson discourse there's gonna be a great time just to be a football fan he um he the first two throws were awesome yeah this game should have been awesome lamar gets hurt right away everything was on schedule fagnano yep uh snoop gets hurt four play four passes in and then it was just the bills just i mean the bills are really really good that's what i'm thinking when you have a fagnano in there it's like they're gonna just tee off i'm thinking you have to at least make the call for flacco to bring him home. I think the Ravens get first crack at him.
41:28If you want to bring him home, you can. If you say no, then he becomes property of the Vikings. Are the Ravens? I think we might break the record for seasons from hell because the Ravens are now officially in that category with Lamar being hurt, coming back, getting hurt, almost instantly going on IR. It turns out you're just in hell. You just live there. You're in hell, and this team is a bad football team when Lamar Jackson's not playing quarterback for him. Yeah. That's just a fact. It sucked because it was the very first play today, the very first pass that he threw. And it was going to be a great game. Yeah. And the Bills, I mean, listen, the Bills are just good. DJ Moore being back, it's a difference that you can see on the field.
42:06He had an incredible catch. Everything opens up. Everything underneath opens up when DJ Moore's out on the field. Josh Allen, he didn't have to be Superman. He still kind of was at certain times in the game. The Bills are just way better than a Joe Fagnano-led Ravens team. You know Joe Fagnano played seven years of college football? Pretty good for him. I did not know that. Is he a doctor? No, he played, I think, four years at Maine and then three years at UConn. I love that. Do you think he ever peed in that urinal right there? Yeah, really good. I don't think so. That's a basketball urinal. But do you think he ever would happen? By the way, update. Dan Hurley quote tweeted it and said that Gino also pissed in this urinal.
42:47Huge. So that's like, what does he have, like 25 national titles I think Gino does? There could have been a moment where Fagnano found himself in that office. Yeah. Like the starting quarterback meets with the basketball team for some reason. I don't know. But I did the cursory, like, let's look up what Joe Fagnano is all about. And it basically was articles that had been posted an hour ago being like five facts about joe fagnano and it was like he played football at maine then he played football at yukon he won the mvp for the fenway bowl in 2024 only through one interception his last year in 2025 actually the fun fact about joe fagnano is that he got Jim Mora Jr. a job at Colorado State. Yeah.
43:27He was that good. I think it was 28 touchdowns, one interception his last year at UConn. And he's got to love football. If you play seven years at Maine and UConn, you got to love football. And again, they asked him, is he healthy enough to play Thursday? And he said, I think so. So this is the downside. We now have a Thursday night game, Jaguars versus Ravens. That is. Yeah, it's gross. I'm going to say it. I don't think we should. I think we should do a choose your own adventure on that game. I'm going to say it. I feel like that game isn't stream worthy. Great streaming bears on Monday night. I feel like I don't need. But what if Joe Fagnano does something awesome? You don't want to miss that.
44:07Maybe Zoom in. I mean, Joe Fagnano could do something sick. He could. I say we do Zoom. Joe Fagnano stinks. Those two throws, though, from Joe Fagnano were electric. I watched so much of this game because I was so excited for it. I know. I put a lot of money on the over, and I really wanted to will that game to being over, and Joe Fagnano just couldn't get me anything. You know what this game is? This Thursday night game. This is a resume game for Declan Doyle. This is Declan Doyle's— What can you make out of Joe Fagnano? This is Declan Doyle's job interview. Yeah. This is number one interview for Declan Doyle's What can you make out of Joe Fagnano? This is Declan Doyle's job interview This is number one interview for Declan Doyle
44:47It will determine how many teams call him At the end of this year If he's able to make Fagnano look serviceable Then that'll go a long way I will say Joe Fagnano probably hasn't got a First team rep ever Probably not No, definitely not So maybe he just needs a couple reps this week in practice. Right. You know what? I'm going to believe in him. I'm going to be part of the Nanos. And we're choosing that name very, very carefully. The fan club? Yeah, we're the Nanos. I did like how the announcer was making sure to say Fagnano. Yeah, Fagnano. Fagnano. They became real Italian. Real paisans. Fagnano. Fagnano. How do you say it, Max? Fagnano? I don't know. Yeah. Do you think that agent has called him yet?
45:31Oh, he has to have. What's his name? Stellato. Stellato. Stellato's got to have his hands all over Joe Fagnano. Has to. Tommy DeVito, your old news, buddy. Gotcha. Also, he was the emergency quarterback today like he we i didn't want him to get football i didn't want him to get injured but i did want to see how chaotic it would have been if he couldn't play for some reason yeah they said i think justice hill yeah that just would have been awesome just to see i i believe was what they said. It would have just been wildcat, wildcat, wildcat. Yeah, I mean, that's basically what the Buccaneers did. Yeah. They did it well. They did it really well. All right, Bills are really good, though. I don't know what else to say.
46:14I can't really grade. The Bills defense played great today, and they got a lot of pressure, but you can't really grade it because of who they were playing. But that would be a positive if you're a Bills fan, being like, hey, we didn't get— because the alternative is you get sliced and diced by Joe Fagnano, and then you're questioning life. Right. So Baltimore, they are the first team in the NFL to have three quarterbacks throw a pass before halftime since the 2017 Cowboys, who did it. Broderick Washington, you remember that interception that he had? Yeah. Oh, hey, the Ravens might be able to do something today. I looked it up because I was like, I can't remember ever hearing in my entire life
46:52like Broderick Washington ever recovering anything. Turns out he's recovered a couple fumbles from Kyle Van Nooy. But it got me thinking, who's the guy who's been in the NFL for the longest without ever touching the ball is? I looked it up. Yeah, go ahead. Tell us. It's Garrett Bowles on the Broncos. So I guess he's played 9,792 snaps. And Sean Payton targeted him last year in a special play to get him to touch the ball. I want to be able to bet on Garrett Bowles to have one reception in every game. Because I feel like Sean Payton is going toles to have one reception in every game. Yeah. Because I feel like Sean Payton is going to try to get him that touch. He definitely will. Because he doesn't want him to retire as the guy.
47:30Who never touched the ball. Because that would suck. Like a lot of these interior linemen, you will just never touch the ball ever. That was, I remember we talked to Joe Thomas once and he was like, yeah, I played in the NFL for a decade plus Hall of Fame career. And I think he actually like timed it. He touched the football for like 12 seconds total yeah this guy that's such a bummer yeah such a bummer like let let garrett bulls catch a pass or do one of those weird inside handoffs to him i don't care just get get the ball in his hand for a second yeah or let him take a knee at the end of the game i mean bo nicks probably would just throw it to him on accident yeah 100 yeah okay uh one other
48:04thing roquan smith apparently tried to kill Josh Allen today. Yeah. Did you see that? Yeah. That was pretty bad. I feel like that's going to be a suspension from the league. Yeah. Because it, I don't know. I'm not a doctor, but it looked like he could have snapped his neck or at least it looked like he was trying to. Yeah. It was. You got to chill out. Chill out, man. By the way, I just, he like wrenched him. Yeah. See, that's where Mike McCarthy, like his head doesn't even move. Yeah. That just stays firmly in place. Well, unless he looks up. Yeah, but again, I think it's all chest. It's really like a thorax. Like insects. Bad breaking moose. I was wrong about just Fagnano versus the Jaguars on Thursday Night Football.
48:51The Ravens also have Monday Night Football the next week against the Chargers. Permission to not watch Monday Night Football that day. I'm going to do it. I'm going to do it. I'm going to do it. Joe Buck and Troy Aikman are going to get to a fist fight. Yeah, that's going to be a tough one for them. Try to get through that one. Try to have the buddy-buddy, real pleasant conversation for three hours when you're watching Justin Herbert versus Fagnano. ESPN, Jimmy Pataro might have to be like, hey, Peter Herbstreet's got to be on this broadcast, just as a buffer between the two of you. Wait, what's that guy's name from the Ravens? Skip Bayless used to call me that. Joe? Oh, man. Ravens Chargers?
49:36Oh, yeah. I mean, it would have been awesome if it was the Harbaugh's. Yeah. Although he was fired well before the schedule. I know. But still, maybe we can. This might be a Harbaugh revenge for his brother. This is where the charges get to win. They probably get. This is where Hugh Jackson gets to flush the toilet. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Before we get to the next game, which was actually, we're going to go from one of the most boring games to one of the most exciting games. Let's talk to you real quick about our friends at Chevy. But we should also say we took a little break to watch some of Sunday Night Football. As we are recording right now, it is 16 to 10, Commanders. It is a gross game. We just watched Jake Elliott make a kick, then miss a kick. And yeah, I still don't know why why they put this game on sunday night football but we're gonna watch the last nine minutes together while we're potting it's it's perverted stuff if you don't have a dog in this fight i don't know why you're watching it um this should be for max and my eyes only barely but like barely
52:40even our eyes yeah max it's just everything the eagles do on offense is so like it takes every ounce of energy to gain like four yards we don't have real players i know you have six string running back yeah we don't have real players yeah all right let's talk bangles 43 titans 36 this was maybe the most entertaining game of the early slate. It was crazy. The fact that we had how many? I can't even do the math. How many points is that? 79 points. Yeah, 43, 36. 36 points. Most points the Titans have scored in five years in a game. It was back and forth. Pretty much like it's the Jim Balvano. You have to laugh. you have to cry. What's the other thing? Come. Come. Squirt. To do the whole, you know, to live a full day.
53:32That was Joe Burrow's stat line. He threw three picks. He threw five touchdowns, 462 yards, ran in what was the game-winning touchdown. He did everything. It was bad Joe.'s good joe it was essentially from watching it was like the bangles and they kind of did this last week with the ravens too when they were down 13 nothing and half where they just know they can like whenever they want they can just start ripping the ball to to jamar chase and t higgins and it will work because those two guys had 21 catches three touchdowns and 196 yards or sorry 296 yards combined it was they just hit the the button and they and and they were able to stave off the uh titans who looked good they competent the uh the bangles did go down
54:21exactly 13 nothing again yeah and then they started respond. Burrow ended with 462 yards. Yeah, five touchdowns, three picks. He's the second guy in the history of the league to have 450 yards, five pass touchdowns, and a rush touchdown in the game. And the other guy was Norm Van Brocklin. In that game where he had 554 passing yards, set the league record, still hasn't been beaten. Wow. So, yeah. I mean, still hasn't been beaten. Wow. So, yeah. I mean, Joe looked great. There were some bad throws, but he could be— Was that Williams? That was Williams. Okay. That was big for Antonio. It was— I don't know if he's good enough to get a nickname like that. That's just what I—that's not really a nickname.
55:02That's just me singing Biggie Smalls. Okay, for Antonio Williams. He will be good. Yeah. Just wait. That's not really a nickname. That's just me just singing Biggie Smalls. Okay, for Antonio Williams. He will be good. Yeah. Just wait. I followed you up the ladder. Joe Burrow just had a game where he could not stop slinging the football. He did it all. He filled the whole. You can't tell the story of this game without just Joe Burrow did it all. He did the most. And then, so the bangles are now what uh five and two because i think they had their buy uh yeah they're five and two i would be concerned if i were a bangles fan because uh well all right let's go good news first good news joe burrow you're five and two joe burrow still playing the the offense can score at will i would say that if you want to like go best
55:46offenses in the league it's like bills and bangles right like lions maybe but like it's niners get in there but it feels like the bangles have a switch that they that very few teams have where it's like track meet we can we can we can block for joe and joe will find the guys and the guys are better than your guys yeah they can hit the track meet button but and just and turn any game into shootout and trust the fact that chances are they'll win more shootouts than they'll lose right the the the thing that would make you concerned if you're a bangles fan is you just made cam ward have uh look good and have his best game as a pro. Which, what's going on with that? And Tony Pollard ran all over you.
56:28Kim Ward had... Tony Pollard's been playing pretty good for the last couple weeks. But still, like this is... The whole thing with the Bengals this year was invested in the defense. dexter lawrence it's going to be fixed we're not gonna have to win these type of games anymore yeah and cam ward has not looked good as a nfl quarterback today he didn't throw any picks two touchdowns 300 yards like he looked he looked good and he didn't even have carnell tate so that would concern me but you could maybe say hey look it's these games happen which i actually do prescribe to that theory that it's like you do get into random games that aren't, they're kind of outlier games where it's like everything just goes crazy and it's just back and forth,
57:10And then you'll have games where it's just everything's slogged down. Just something to think about. The Cam Ward looked better than he's ever looked in an NFL game. Sometimes a game gets away from you. And there's just going to be guys that are wide open, running downfield. Next week against, is it the Falcons next week for the Bengals? That's an over. That's going to be a fun game. That's another one that might get away from the Bengals. But yeah, after the first three weeks of this year, we thought maybe the Bengals have just completely fixed their defense. It's not completely fixed, but at their best, they're still miles ahead of where they have been for the last three seasons so I think
57:45it might just be one that got away from them a little bit and yeah I guess if you're the Titans this is probably like this game might be the most fun that you'll have watching football this year so that was cool that was and the uniforms look good where's this game they're playing the Falcons against? Let's see it's not in America. Hank? 830 in the morning. Madrid. Madrid. Will you be watching, Hank? Of course. España. The full game? Yeah. Okay. Always. How about you just do the recap? No, no, no. Sometimes you say, sometimes you openly admit that you'll watch the second half. You take a shower. Yeah, I'll wake up. I'll watch some mosey around the house take a shower come into the office yeah i'm interested to see where where mike brown has
58:30the bengals staying while they're in madrid like what kind of hotel they got put up in they're staying in the city probably not great they're staying out in the outskirts they're not going to get the real jamon abirico they're going to get the 50-50 pink ribbon stuff that you can get anywhere else. Yeah, no. He might just leave it up to everyone else. He might just give them a $100 stipend and be like, figure it out. Yeah. This is a great stadium that they're playing in next week, though. That place is awesome. Still don't want it there. Don't want it there at all. Still don't want there. Something just to look at. Jamar Chase, when asked how the Bengals can avoid slow starts, he said, I don't know, ask Zach.
59:06It's not my job. Ask Zach. Technically right. First name basis, huh? It is Zach's job. Mr. Zach. Zach, so let's ask you. Slow start? Trouble getting out of bed? Look, you just can't think about the slow start. Once you get it going, you get it going. Do you find yourself, do you find yourself do you find yourself uh what's the what's the breakdown in the community like in terms of zach zach zac you're just a zac do you look like down on the other ones or who's who's the top of the zach rung? I think if we're talking numbers-wise, I think there's the most probably CHs because it's just spelled full name, full government, probably Zachary. So they just cut in half. The CK moms, when they give that nickname to their kids,
59:52they're just trying to be a little too creative. So that's just a nickname? Well, there's no K. I knew a guy named Zach, Z-A-C-K. Yeah. It was like government name. Was he full name? Because if he's full name Zachariah, and there's a K in there, it makes sense. But if you're full name Zachary, I never understand where the K comes from. Who's the Alpha Zach? Definitely not the Q, probably the C. H, probably. Wait, the Q? Have you guys seen the Q? No. I actually would imagine that would be the Alpha. Yeah, the Leafs only seen one. Okay, what about the uh the zakk double k yeah i get that for maybe an online username but i've never seen that on my paper that's something nashville shit yeah definitely some like southeast what uh all right so so when
1:00:34you see did you ever ask your mom like hey why no h uh yeah she told me just because it spells my initials so just she just ran the ball there, yeah? Yeah. Which, that was cool. So, but you're not, like, if you're in a room full of Zachs, you're not looked as, like... No, I'm middle of the pack. Is there anything about being named Zach that all the Zachs have in common? Like, growing up always being, like, last in roll call into the alphabet, end of all the lines? It's always kind of a bummer. Yeah, like picture day. Yeah. Zach Taylor, by the way, is Zachary, but he dropped the H. That's a good move. So he could be an H. Yeah. But you all suffered together. Like you have a common bond. I think some of it is like Zach, pretty common name.
1:01:21You're put into a classroom as a young kid. There's two Zags. We got to have a C and an H. Yeah. His full name is Zachary William Taylor. That sounds like a guy who signed the Constitution. That's a president. Yeah. What the fuck? Also tough as Zachary. Not the most adult name when you become a man. It feels like, you know. It is a little boyish. Yeah, it stays kind of boyish you're right i never thought about it but yeah an adult like i don't think i've ever met like a 50 year old put together zach zach and then you go zachary and that still just sounds you know it's not that's not the most that sounds more boyish i think yeah it is then yeah that's all i would say that's the biggest drawback.
1:02:03Do you think your name is holding you back in terms of responsibility and growing up? No, I'm holding me back. It's not the name. I can't put that on my mom. That's all me. Well, then technically it is your name. It's you holding me back. That's true, yes. Zach is holding Zach back. Yes. Okay. That was good Zach talk. All right, Next game. The biggest choke of the season. Maybe Cardinals 33 Cowboys 30 Gardner Minshew. We got Gardner. It actually was like the backup Avengers because the Cardinals were going through their, their usual Jacoby reset has a nice drive. Then the offense can't do shit uh jeremiah love got hurt uh everyone was out and then it was like hey who do we have left we have
1:02:50the backup avengers we're going to put in gardner minshu we're going to have tyler algier run all over everyone and the cardinals come back from 14 down in the fourth quarter to win in overtime which they could have easily won in regulation if their kicker didn't miss an extra point. But that made it kind of better because it was almost like the Cowboys had to go through losing twice. Yeah. Because at the end of the game, they're like, oh, shit, I can't believe we choked that away. And then you missed the kick, and they're like, oh, all right, maybe we can win, and then boom, you lose again. Of all the, I mean, I feel like we have gotten to a point now. I mean, it just, Jerry Jones has like a fetish of just being humiliated on national television.
1:03:28Because no one loses like the Cowboys lose. They really do lose better than everyone. I'm not saying like they lose more than everyone because they have won a lot of games. And even with Mike McCarthy, they won a lot of games. But the way they lose is always just spectacular they can't just normally lose they find new ways to do it too it's like they don't necessarily have a single style that they like to follow although this is this is the fifth time in a row that the cardinals have beaten them yeah it's nine out of ten they have their number think about think about though the cowboys losses this year the way they've lost. They lost week one when, remember the Giants? I think they had like three possessions.
1:04:07Yeah. Giants had the ball the whole entire time. They lost to the Ravens in that game where they couldn't have lost. It was impossible to lose in regulation. And the fact that it was in Brazil, it's just like a little extra spice on it. They lost to Jalen Daniels, who maybe will never start another game in the NFL. Yep. And they lost this game. I mean, they also lost to the Packers. That was more of a routine loss. But this game, which was just, it was the first time they had lost at home in the history of the Cowboys with a 14-plus lead in fourth quarter. There were 202-0- 1 as a franchise in those situations. And it was Gardner Minshew. And Gardner Minshew, Adam Rank had a great tweet. He said, Gardner Minshew is like the McRib.
1:04:50He exists for just a limited amount of time. But while he's here, it's spectacular. Yeah, and he does come back like once a year. The thing about Gardner Minshew is you have to time him right. It's very easy to hit the Gardner Minshew button at the wrong time. right if you it's very easy to hit the car the Gardner Minshew button at the wrong time yeah and you feel like you should get excited about it like he has a chance to to help you win a game provide a spark but sometimes it's not the right time and the spark just completely backfires on you yeah it's like a pit stop yeah it's like a pit stop in NASCAR if you time it perfectly it gives you such a nice little boost for like the next two weeks it's the best if you miss time it your whole season goes to shit yeah and he uh i mean it's just it was fun to see him
1:05:27out there he was slinging he threw three touchdowns 188 yards he came in in the fourth quarter and this game was over it was over and i can't stress enough how chicken shit brian schottenheimer and the cowboys were at the end of this game they were up two times in the red zone two times they were up 24 17 with four minutes left and they were just playing for field goals they went uh minus two yard run one yard pass incompletion field goal then the cardinals score it's 27-24 and they have to... Oh, Tanner McKee just threw an interception. Love that. And why didn't you keep running? Why didn't he keep running? I don't know. Why didn't he just get out of bounds? They just want the game. I don't understand
1:06:14anything about this football team. I don't know. The game's over. They might as well have a cow. You're only saying that because you have the O. Yeah, I know, but he did just run out of bounds. It doesn't know. The game's over. Why does it matter? They might as well have a cow. You're only saying that because you have the O. Yeah, I know, but he did just run out of bounds. It doesn't matter. No, he's right. It doesn't make sense. It would have been nice. Most cornerbacks, when they have an interception like that on a primetime game, Mike Tariq goes up in the box saying your name. There wasn't that much room to run. They tend to try to score a touchdown. Max, he went out of bounds. There was no reason to go out of bounds there. It wasn't like there was
1:06:43one second left. It just doesn't matter. I understand what you're saying, but that was a weird thing to see happen. I don't think it was. Whatever. It was weird. Sure. I agree it was weird. Most guys try to score a touchdown. Yeah, they just keep running. He's still running. Yeah, but here comes Jaden. Okay, so up 24-17, they do the run short yard pass. They're basically playing field goals. Then they get the, oh, is he going to run for a touchdown? Rashad White is going to go down. Go down culture. Go down culture at its finest. Shout out DJ Khaled. And then they get the onside kick, and they're back in the red zone. It's 27-24. They're first and 10 at the 20. Score a touchdown. The game is over.
1:07:29You're up two scores. They go zero-yard run, sack, three-yard run. I don't get it. They played to – they just played like chicken shit football down the stretch. They deserve to lose. And Gardner Minshew, credit to him, he went 80 yards in a minute and three seconds to tie the game. The Cowboys deserve this. Brian Schottenheimer's not a head coach. It's crazy. And they asked Jerry Jones about it after the game, and he said that he's not planning on making any moves right now. Apparently, what really stuck with him for a long time was when he fired Wade Phillips. Yeah, no. He still goes back to that. He's like like that's why i won't fire a coach mid-season anymore yeah uh but i think most cowboys fans probably if you asked them like point blank they
1:08:12kind of miss mike mccarthy yeah no he said jerry said specifically uh because he was trying to be nice and not like drag wade phillips and like mention yeah he fired wade phillips he said i made a change and i don't want to mention it because i'm not proud of it but i made a change with wade phillips there in the middle of the season i don't see that here at all yeah i don't want to mention his name but wade phillips was a mistake that was a mistake uh yeah so the the as we mentioned the cardinals have beaten them five games in a row now. And the comeback that they had since 2000, the Cardinals were 1-147-1 when trailing by 14 points or more in the fourth quarter. And you combine that with the Cowboys being 69-0
1:08:50when leading by 14-plus points in the fourth quarter at home entering today. Well, no, 202-0 as a franchise. Leading by 14 points in the fourth quarter. So you combine that one, 147-1 for the Cardinals. It was just an all-time choke job. And the Cowboys' defense is so bad, the Cowboys have allowed 20 or more points in 15 games, 15 games in a row. That's the longest active streak in the league right now. What's up? You want to talk about your boy? Which guy? Kale Downs killed downs yeah in a little bit so they've allowed 20 they've allowed 20 more points in 15 start game that's the longest in the nfl right now the last team to have a streak that was that long was the jaguars in 2019 through 2021 and that jaguars team was so bad that they had the number one overall pick
1:09:42back-to-back years that's how bad that team was and the cowboys are just as bad uh caleb down's bad game today he got dribbled look on this on this block who's that big boy in space 72 uh just i mean it technically is a double dribble yeah we are big guys said for hold was literally dribbling c down. It's awesome. Just shoves him over twice. And then McBride talking shit to him. Be like, dude, you were a first round pick. Yeah, you suck. Yeah, I love that. He broke him off on a route. He's like, you're a first round pick. Not a great day for him. Yeah, I mean, the Cowboys are bad. But this even for how bad the Cowboys are. This was just you don't lose – you shouldn't lose games when you're up 14 in the fourth quarter
1:10:26and they're going to Gardner Minshew as the rescue option. Yeah, but that's what Gardner does sometimes. No, he does. You're right. Gardner has that ability in him. He's special. Now, who do the Cowboys have next? The fact that the NFC East is such such a shit show you know what i have a take about that the giants are good we're kind of we're kind of being disrespectful to the giants by saying i think the giants are good i just i'm saying this as a commanders fan like the talk of the commanders still being in it because they they win this game um and they're now going to be two four and one is very disrespectful to the giants because the giants i think are a good team and they're a fun team i think they're good if nine is playing out of his mind right yeah no i they
1:11:14have not beaten anyone i mean the texans win actually i should give them credit for that right but if you want to go by the Texans' current form, they've beaten the Cowboys, who have two wins, the Titans, who have one win, the Cardinals, who now have three because they just beat the Cowboys, and the Texans, who have two wins. Yeah. So someone's got to win it. I mean, I do think they're the best NFC East team. I think that if the records were similar right now, then, yeah, it would be easy to say that. But they are, what, two games ahead of the Commanders right now? Game and a half ahead? Well, the Cowboys are ahead of you. Right. Yeah. The Cowboys are still in second place. Right. I was saying, what, a game and a half ahead of the Cowboys?
1:11:58The Giants? Let's see what the standards are. The Cowboys have five losses. The Giants have two. The tie really fucks me up. Yeah. I mean, it's just... Yeah, the Giants are definitely better than everyone else in the NFC. So, yeah, I'll stop shitting on the Giants. I'm not even shitting on them. It's more just like the rest of the NFC is just so bad. Pretty bad. This game is over. Max. This is not a football team. This is not a real football team. It's not a football team. Tanner McKee is not a football player. I don't think he threw it over five yards in the second half. Every single play was just, I'm shitting my pants i'm shitting my pants check down to the running back yeah he's a true backup quarterback i don't even think he's that well no
1:12:48yeah i guess you're right he's not even that should we call pug yeah yeah call pug i mean he's got an answer for this i'm calling pug so pft you're're clearly with you saying that... Go on. Maybe he went to bed. He gave up on him Wow When you've lost Pug PFT I have a question for you Are you still thinking the Commanders are going to win the NFC East I feel like you might be No because I just said The Giants are But you made a little Freudian slip where you're like The Commanders are only a game Or like two games back when the Cowboys are still in second place. No, I was literally saying the Commanders are two games back and the Cowboys are a game and a half back. So that's why it's disrespectful to the Giants right now. Right.
1:13:52To have everybody talking about the other teams in the division besides them. But what if you just went, oh, Pug's calling me back. Pug. Whole team's broken. Okay, but what about Tanner McKee? He let him on a drive. If we hit that field goal, he has a drive. It's 13-19, and he has a chance to go down and maybe win it. Just never got that chance. That chance never came He needs more time Okay Our offensive line just got fucking killed They got no chance You sound distressed The team's broken The ground's broken It's season from hell Yeah you know Teams have down years that's part of football but I'm more worried about your Tanner McKee because you loved him yeah you know in the right system healthy online
1:14:53I promise you he can fucking sling it everything has to be cohesive it's not cohesive right now. Pug, is it Bazooka Joe's time? They can do whatever they want. It's fucked. It's over. Yeah. All right. Well, we love you, Pug. Love you guys, too. All right. Bye, Pug. Tanner's still a beast. See you. Tanner fucking sucks. BFT, you could still win the East. Tell him, Max. Why not? This team stinks. No, I'm not telling you that. This team stinks. Even when we do good shit, it backfires on us. If you just won that game against the Giants, you look so different. Chase on had a great game, but for some reason he's just addicted to shoving the quarterback when he thinks the refs aren't looking. I don't trust Dan Quinn.
1:15:45The hat got turned backwards. He flip-flopped on the hat. You can't flip-flop on a hat. You got some games you could win coming up if you beat the Giants. I do like fro five. I like, I like, uh, Jaden with the fro. It's a good look. Oh, Jeffrey Lurie. That, that is an ominous. Remember that stat about firing coaches i do like that jeffrey lorry uh inducted himself into the ring of honor that's a good move yeah oh by the way still michael bidwell fuck you dude you're a loser we don't like you yeah cardinals owner um so after after the game when they talked to Jerry Jones, he did say, this is a great quote from Jerry, classic quote, I'm not pointing at Shoddy. I'm not pointing at anybody. Oh, okay.
1:16:31So he went out of his way to say, that guy right there, I'm not going to say it's Schottenheimer's fault. Everyone's thinking that I'm going to point at this guy, Shoddy. But I'm not going to say that it's Shoddy's fault because who knows it might not be shoddy's fault they sounds like it's not shoddy's fault but it definitely is i mean i could not believe the way that they played down they just they didn't respect gardner minshu is what they didn't do what they did just play like you have an offense that is supposed to be an elite offense you're in in field goal range. You're in the red zone. Just score a touchdown and end the game. They score a touchdown in either of those spots. They take one shot to the end zone.
1:17:08Like also George Pickens still is the best ever because he had one of the funniest plays where he was down. The most down you could ever be after catching the ball. Popped up, ran to the end zone did a full celebration not only was he down but there was also a flag a hold on the cowboys that came all the way back so it was like doubly not a touchdown uh but very very funny from from george pickett's he's the best i love him so much whatever he does that shit uh okay next game actually let's do a couple ads and then we'll get to the next game raiders jets you ready memes these games are brought to you by kraken by payword kraken is the simple investing platform to trade over 600 tokens like bitcoin over 11 000 stocks and etfs everybody's a genius

1:19:23Eastern on NBC. One race to go, everything to race for. Okay, Raiders 38, Jets 33. Memes. So I don't really know where to start with this game other than the fact that today was a really good day for the Jets. Go on. Colts lost, Cowboys lost. And the Jets lost. So, Paul, take it down. I believe we have three top ten picks. This also was, I'll say it, a very entertaining game. Great game. Very entertaining game. The offense is not the problem. All right, so the Jets right now have the fourth pick, the sixth pick, and the tenth pick. Whew. That's pretty nice arsenal it was a good day in the fact that you have three top 10 picks and you've clearly identified what the problems are which are defense bad they got they got nobody on defense but at the same time they're all aaron
1:20:17glenn's handpicked guys yeah and like and he's a defensive coach. And he's the defensive coach. Kirk Cousins tore you up. And everybody tears us up. Yeah, and it was to, they just, the Raiders have just built the entire plane out of tight ends. He threw to, he threw to four guys. Michael Mayer, Brock Bowers, Ashton Gentry, and who was the other one who got? Naylor. Naylor. That was it. Four guys. Four guys caught passes. Yeah, back-to-back weeks, the Jets lost to a team that didn't have wide receivers. Yeah. Yeah, one wide receiver that caught passes. Then the other three were just tight ends and running back. What do you think about Kirk Cousins doing a little celebration? That weird little dance that he did.
1:21:08I mean, it's fine. He called it his wellness dance. I don't know what that means, but he said that he had been telling the guys he was going to do a wellness dance if he scored a touchdown. And then it looked like he was grinding pepper or something. I didn't really understand it. He's like doing the stanky elbow. Yeah, the stanky elbow. Yeah. He said they asked him about it after his touchdown third quarter. He said, we do a lot of tissue work here. At my age, it's especially helpful. That was his explanation of what the dance move was. So I have no idea what the fuck Kirk Cousins was doing. He just started talking about his tissues. Yeah, I mean, it was a fine dance. Braylon Allen's good.
1:21:51A.D. Mitchell's good. Yeah. Brad Wilson's good. Your offense is good. Offense is fun. You've got to finish drives. They're terrible on short yardage. If they could finish in short yardage, they'd be a top five scoring offensively. The first six drives for the Jets in this game got to the Raiders' red zone. Like, they went to the red zone every single time, and then they got three field goals, three touchdowns. If any of those are a touchdown, it changes the course of the game. It's just defense is so bad. It's brutal. And they got called out by Ashton Gentry early in the week. By the way, he was right. No, but he was right. Yeah. He said that he said it's a get right game for the running game.
1:22:31He said guys that don't want to tackle. And Mike Washington went for 83 yards. Yeah. You can't say we're going to get right and then get right. Yeah. Well, also, you can't say you're going to get right and then get right. Yeah, well, also you can't say you're going to get right and then get two carries, which Ashton Gentry also did. He was effectively benched. They shunned him down. He called a get right game and then got benched. He did have the one big play. He did have a – yeah, he caught the ball well, but he got two carries. And he said that coach was like, hey, you're not going to be like the featured back right now. It's not great for Ashton Gentry, the fact that Mike Washington looked pretty good with the same offensive line.
1:23:14But I guess it was a get right game. So Ashton Gentry missed out on his get right game. But yeah, that's a weird thing to call out being like yeah they have guys that don't tackle and then again be basically benched and made rb2 yeah um and also the get right game wasn't even that great for mike washington well it was because he's a backup running back it was good for him yeah but it's not like they ran all over the jets uh what do you think about gino's play today memes are you still thinking that Geno is looking for stats? No, he played well today. I thought he looked okay today. Yeah, he was slinging it. He was definitely looking to get some get back. And then is Mason Taylor okay? He hurt his lower back.
1:23:55Yeah, it looked bad. But I will say, credit to Mason Taylor. He lands on his back and then knows that there's going to be a 10-second runoff if they have to use an official timeout to get him off the field. So he somehow rolled off the field to get treatment in order to give a little bit more time on the clock to try to win the game. That was a gutsy – not going to show up in the stat sheet. That's a gutsy play by Mason Taylor. Yeah, real gutsy. I wish there was a point. If there's a point in your season you know the season's over, you should just end it. Today, I want the season to just be over. Max is shaking his head, yes. I would love for this season. Everybody could just rest up. You know what you have. You know
1:24:39what's bad. It would be. Let's just move on. Maybe the NFL has to move to like the uh the eliminator like survivor eliminator guillotine yeah guillotine rules tap out after week eight you can tap out until you have like three teams left just just be done no i like no no i like what memes is saying. I think memes is right. Memes should be allowed to tap out. But teams like the Eagles, if you have a good team, or like the Chiefs last year, you should be forced to watch. What? Yeah. You should be forced to watch your team be bad. Okay. I know what he's saying. Yeah, you know what I'm saying, memes? I know what he's saying. Yeah. Yeah. If you won a Super Bowl recently, yeah. Yeah, you know what I'm saying, Mames? I know what he's saying. Yeah. If you won a Super Bowl recently, yeah.
1:25:22Yeah, you should have to experience it. It's like Ohio State fans. You love injuries. You root for injuries. What? That's basically what you're saying. You're happy that the Eagles are this bad and Eagles fans have to watch a team this bad because they're all injured. No, I'm saying if you do have a bad team and you have historically a really good team, you should have to tap in. Gain a little empathy for how the rest of us have to live every year. It's like Ohio State fans freaking out because this was the first time in 15 years they took their second loss before November 1st. Yeah. And they're all just having a meltdown. It's like, dude, welcome to how the rest of us live. Yep. It ain't fun.
1:26:05Nope. Got to go through it sometimes, though. Can't fast forward life. That's what I always say. Yeah, Memes, I'm with you on the rule. Yeah, and the other way this was also a good loss, supposedly there was some murmuring that if the Jets would have won, this would have gave Woody Johnson confidence in Aaron Glenn to just give him an excuse to keep him around for next year. Oh, so he's fired. This was a murmur game. Well, no. He has a five-year contract and he has three years left, so Woody Johnson's looking for an excuse to keep him around. Oh, so it's not a fired game, but it's a step in the firing direction game this is essentially just like every single fan's done with them and it's like you better fire them
1:26:48at the end of the year yeah okay i mean it was it was an away game today the jets were driving on their final drive and there was a defense chance oh that's bad with the Raiders. That's not good. No. How did the last two minutes of the first half go? Got three points. I scored him three out. There you go. All right. Don't let Woody find out. I will say this about the Raiders. They're not good, but they're a fun not good because they give up a ton of points and they can score points. Like, they're a fun not good team that's a every team that's bad should have to have a good offense and a bad defense that's how you build a fun watch what max why are you shaking your head just thinking about i'm that that wasn't meant for you
1:27:36that was more internally in my head that my team is just not a fun watch. No, you guys are the opposite. Correct. You're like, your defense isn't so, so bad, and your offense is so, so bad. Right. Like the Chargers, not a fun watch. No. Terrible watch. Bummer watch. Terrible, terrible watch. Raiders. Jets are kind of in the fun watch territory. Jets are fun. Yeah. No, they're fun. I mean, the defense is fun. I've always wondered what this kind of game would look like. Yeah. The last time they scored more than 30 points was wild. Yeah. It was wild. I also think that the Titans might be transitioning from not fun watch to fun watch. Yeah, they could. It also might just be that they played against the Bengals.
1:28:19Yeah. Yeah, 100%. But they've been fun. I'm hoping that played against the bangles yeah yep 100 but they've been fun i'm hoping that that's that's the direction they're going yeah you're bet the bad the health of the league would be a lot better if the bad teams were still fun watching right i was saying today that it does seem like there's a lot of um a lot of the bad teams not all of them but a lot of the bad teams are still like they'll still put points on the board yeah and and there'll be some fireworks you can look at the cardinals like that you can look at the raiders like that it makes sunday a little bit better yeah absolutely also jets aren't winning a game for the rest of the year wait that's not true stop it that's not true okay hold on
1:28:55are you really because i think i saw it got the chargers at the chiefs all right so they're gonna beat the bills at the chargers there you right, so they're going to beat the Chargers. Bills at the Chargers. There you go. At the Dolphins. You guys could beat the Dolphins. All right, Chiefs next week. Bills, Chargers, Dolphins. Broncos, Cardinals could. Scrappy. Patriots, Vikings, Bills. Okay, so yeah, there's... You got three chances. Two and a half chances. Two and a half chances. Two and a half chances. Two and a half chances feels right. Give you half a chance to get the Cardinals. But you... Might throw in a win somewhere. But memes, the Colts, they might not win a game. But goddamn memes.
1:29:35I'll say, too, like, not only... Obviously, it sucks. But big picture, this has got to be one of the most fun bad teams because you not only have good young offensive weapons, Sadiq, Braylon Allen, Eddie Mitchell, Garrett Wilson, all that, but you also have three picks. So you have like... Yeah, this was a phenomenal day. Yeah, like this is, if a phenomenal day yeah like this is this is if you're if you're gonna be bad you you are you're doing bad in style do you know what i mean yeah if they didn't have those two other picks like imagine being the colts right now the colts don't have their first round pick and they are just dog shitting in hell you guys are doing it in style. You guys are like,
1:30:23yeah, you're like putting on a tux and being bad in style. Yeah, it's fun. It's a lot of fun. Never thought we'd be here, but it's fun. Have you given any more thought to who you want in the draft? As the season goes on. Quarterback, all defense. What quarterback? Mestemaker. Zesty for Mesty? Yep. Or CJ Carr. But I've officially made my stance on Mesty. Okay. Even though I think he's going to go to the Chargers. Hank, what are your thoughts on the Jets? They're the Jets. Jets are the Jets. Are you a little worried they have three picks? No. In the top ten, though. Three picks in the top ten. They've had plenty. How many top ten picks have they had the last 20 years? Not ever three at the same time.
1:31:04Yeah. Doesn't matter. I don't think any team's ever had three at the same time. They could take Mensah, Mestemaker, and CJ Carr and just see which one is good. Honestly, not a bad strategy. I mean, they'll trade at least one of them. Teams have had two draft picks in the top ten before. Bears. Look at that now. Yeah. Roman Caleb. Worked out. Three is so many, though. It's one more than two. Yeah. 33% more? It's one less than four. 50% more. Some would say the perfect amount. I don't know how percents work. I just found out that it's out of 100. All right. Next up, Buck 16, Falcon 0. Watch out for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Zach, I walk back my – so last Monday I said – and I do believe this.
1:31:51They have the most reliable unit in the NFC South. I think their defense is the best unit in the NFC South. What gave me hesitation was Todd Bull's existence as a person. But I got to say, two weeks in a row, credit was Todd Bulls existence as a person but I gotta say two weeks in a row credit to Todd Bulls this game you can you could not pass in this game the Bucks said hey we can't pass in this game we're not gonna pass in this game the Falcons said hey we're gonna try to pass in this game and Michael Penix is to throw four picks and have baker mayfield had a better qb rating than michael pennix baker mayfield went over three for zero yards i understand your hesitation the last couple days it was dominant wind yeah you guys are back yeah
1:32:32showed up to a divisional game goose egged him and the defense said give me that four times yeah what more can you ask for it was it was a, very smart game plan, and you didn't— I feel like the Bucs probably adapted on the fly. Once they saw how bad it was and how effective the running game was, they made a smart decision, which is, no, we're just not going to try to pass. And Bucky Irving was a beast! Bucky Irving was great. The defense, really, really good, Zach. You guys have—yeah, you've got an identity. Now it would be helpful helpful part of that identity was involving the quarterback position a little bit certainly but i almost look at it as another week for the thumb to heal yeah yeah if we can't throw it as much as you would like to
1:33:11establish a run uh the elements coming out was nice because i mean the falcons playing side said no look we'll get a little wet no nothing wrong with that it was the highest run rate since uh that monday night football game that we went to in Buffalo, where it was so windy. Dope. Yeah, and now, look. I mean, is anyone joining me on Buck Island? Are we still thinking Falcons? Are we still thinking Panthers? I know the Bucs have a couple tough – they come to Chicago next Sunday and then at Detroit, but then they have a little stretch where it's, you know, depending on who's playing for the Ravens, they have Carolina at home chargers at home Ravens saints. Like I, I think the box, if they can go one in one of the next two,
1:33:53like this isn't the offensive line is elite and the defense is very good. I'm a resident on the Island. All is welcome. Do PFT. Well, I'm concerned about the Island. Cause it I'm a resident on the island. All is welcome. PFT? Well, I'm concerned about the island because it's hard to get to the stadium. Like, it's tough to get to games on time from the island. No, that's the Trop. Okay. Trop's a little different. The Trop's landlocked. This is a different part. The Trop's like Peninsula, though, too. Okay. Three sides of water. I'm still, I'm buck curious right now. Are you staying with the Falcons? Falcons are still, that's my main bitch. Okay. If this game was played, I can't remember the last time the Atlanta Falcons won a game in the rain.
1:34:29They just seem like a team that's never, one, probably never played in the rain before. Two, I've never seen the Falcons win in any sort of precipitation. They are a dome franchise. I don't know what the plan was today with the Falcons. I mean, Michael Penix, he threw four picks, and he looked so bad. And yes, it was a lot of the weather, but why even test the weather? Yeah, I actually think Tua would have been better today just because they wouldn't have tried to throw it. Cooper Rush? Cooper Rush would have been better today. Yeah, it was... Todd Bowles, great game plan. Bucky Irving was awesome. I also don't think we can blame all four picks on the weather. The defense played fantastic. Yeah, yeah, sure.
1:35:08No, I agree. No, and Kenny Gainwell was awesome. I mean, they ran the ball down their throat. They just didn't. It's crazy to watch a game and be like, this team is not going to pass. We were looking at it in the third quarter. Baker's completions over under was three and a half. Yeah. And everyone knows they're not going to pass we were looking at it in the third quarter baker's completions over under was three and a half yeah and like everyone knows we're not going to pass and there's nothing you can do about it it was like old school almost like a service academy just being like we're going to run it down your throat i believe there's three attempts for the entire game yeah yep so they're the first
1:35:36team to win by double digits without completing a pass since the 1945 pittsburgh steelers beat the chicago cardinals 23 to 0 in week 8 i looked up that uh that steelers team in 1945 on the season you saw this yeah on the season their total for pass pass attempts and completions. There were 61 of 165 on the year for 652 yards passing on the year, zero touchdown passes, and 21 interceptions. That's a hell of a stat line right there. I also. They finished two and eight. So the game that you're referring to, Bill Dudley went 0 for 6, and Buss Warren went 0 for 2. And I was like, that's a weird name, Buss Warren. His real name was Buist Lamb Warren. B-U-I-S-T. I didn't even know that was the name.
1:36:29Buist? Buist? I don't know. What's that short? I don't know. They called him Buzz or Bus. That's way better. Buist Lamb Warren. And they both, I think both the, it's pretty crazy, you know, like when you see 1945, like, oh, what's going on here? Both their quarterbacks served in the Army and the Navy, so it's pretty cool. And then the other game that this happened in a win was 1974, the Bills beat the Jets 16-12. Joe Ferguson was the quarterback for the Bills. He went 0-2. Joe Namath was the quarterback for the Bills. He went 0 for 2. Joe Namath was the quarterback for the Jets. He went 2 for 18 for 33 yards and 3 interceptions. Leading rusher in the game, OJ Simpson. Oh, wow. So, Bucky Irving, be careful.
1:37:13Well, yeah. Good for you, Bucky. Pretty low bar to clear, though. But, yeah. It was also just incredible mud on the jerseys. The Bucs looked awesome. Did you see mud on the jerseys. Like the Bucs looked awesome. Did you see mud on the cheerleaders too? They had a rain game. They were just stomping in there. I respected the hell out of them. They were wearing the standard kit, right? Yeah. They had no poncho on, nothing like that. They were like, listen, if everyone's going to get wet, we're going to get wet. And they didn't miss a beat. Nope. So are you full, you're full back on? Because these next two games will be, listen, I'm not overlooking, I got to worry about the Seahawks Monday night,
1:37:46but I don't think the Bucs are bad. Like, their defense is good. This isn't going to be – they're not a – they're a 3-5 team, but I think they're better than that. Right now I'm, like, emotionally fans still in. If we split one of the next two games, I'm like, objectively, it makes sense to be in back end. Yeah, because you also are undefeated in the South right now. You still have two games against the Saints, who are the worst team in the South. It's our division to lose. That's how I look at it. And you have a home game against the Panthers. Wow, look at that. Baker's thumb. I mean, Baker, what a comeback for Baker. He's 2-0 with 64 yards in the two games. The last two weeks, he's attempted 14 passes.
1:38:28They have 572 rush yards, eight takeaways, six sacks, and a blocked kick. I'm telling you, this defense is good. Yeah. Defense is good. If the defense can stay this disciplined and we kind of keep the run game we've established, if you add even a marginal amount of air attack to the team, I feel like we're in a fantastic spot. How many quarterbacks could have won this game today for Tampa Bay? I think maybe us, one of us. You think we could have done it? You think we could have done it? I think we could have done it. Although we should say probably the coolest play of the day was Baker avoiding that sack, then throwing it backwards to Bucky, and then Bucky having it unfortunately hit out of his hands
1:39:16at the goal line by Jesse Bates. That was this game in one nutshell, where it's just like everything happening no real rhythm no you can't even throw a forward pass and then a fumble sometimes you don't gotta go forward with the pass yeah yeah you know it's a great play jesse bates quietly putting together an incredible season yeah yeah i uh saw the stat was uh the leading pass catchers in this game were kyle pitts with two uh johan dotson with two and alex anzalone with two yeah in the first quarter right alex anzalone plays defense yep so his hair is so sick it is when he takes it all he was wet today it was fucking sick really sick so yeah three and five half a game behind carolina and they've beaten them and they're next to in their
1:40:09carolina game is at home i don't i mean they have a tough schedule but like the fact that they've beaten both the falcons and the panthers is pretty significant if they can do it again and sweep the series. Like, the Bucs might be able to win the South by just going 6-0 in the NFC South. NFC South, man. Continue that reign of dominance. It's one of the best teams in the league for the first half of the 2020s. Yeah. And look at it. It all started with Jalen Daniels in Dallas. Jalen Daniels, two times. The thing I always admire about the NFC South is they've been consistently pretty bad for the last 10 years or so. Obviously, Tom Brady's teams are pretty special. But they tend to be a bad division,
1:40:52but they're always super competitive. And you never know what's going to happen. I think they're just footballing the South. Yeah. I mean, they do have a Super Bowl in the last, yeah, six years, which a lot of divisions can the South. Yeah. I mean, they do have a Super Bowl in the last, yeah, six years, which a lot of divisions can't say. Yeah. So. Look, any teams who go to practice in most days, it's like in the 90s, it's going to be, even if it's bad football, you breed different athletes when they play in that kind of heat all the time. So, NFC South, even if there's bad teams, those guys are tough, man. Yeah, they're tough. All right. Let's go afc south real quick jaguars 42 colt 7 hank hand up yeah i i was right about the giants hit the nail in the
1:41:33head oh you're talking about last i saw a hungry dog yeah i was dead wrong about the colts yeah they are are the deadest most non-competitive football team yeah yeah yeah other than the chargers that i've ever seen yeah i i think they might be worse i i think so too because they're just well they went from like kind of frisky to just completely dead in the matter of three weeks yeah yeah and daniel jones is in in they're all in hell they're all in hell this game was absolute laugher i mean you were covering for a quarter i'll say that it didn't feel it felt like it was over from the first shot but yeah you were covering for a quarter the jaguars helmets kind of gave me hope i was like these these helmets they look like this these are clown
1:42:20helmets i know we talked about it earlier and they can wear whatever they want but those helmets were gross yeah the thing was like this was such a laugher and then they just completely took their foot off the gas in the fourth quarter shane syken's fired right yeah also carly ursa like that that hat was ridiculous for how bad the colts are going right now. You can't be wearing a hat that's swagged out. I feel like you got to go the tiny, tiny logo hat. Don't you think? Yeah. Like, it's bad. You don't know fashion. To me, that hat. She was. She was swagged out. She looked awesome. That hat, to me. Are those bedazzled AirPods? They are. I like the glasses, too. That's right up your alley. Her that's right up your alley her outfit
1:43:03her outfit is right up here i could wear i could pull that off for sure i have probably worn that but i'm saying from she has the colts hat is the pin on the top is incredible i'm just saying if you're a colts player it's like we gotta we gotta match the mood right she's got the colts handkerchief like i think that's if you're a colts, you're gassing her up in like, you look great. Yeah. Give me another contract. Yeah. She does look great. I'm just saying. The owner can wear whatever they want. Hey, Mrs. C, how you doing? I'm just saying. With her, that's her Florida outfit. She was going to Florida today. Yeah. She's going to wear something fashionable. That is, if I'm looking at this picture, that picture, that's like, that's meth.
1:43:41That is meth personified. Yeah. I don't think the Florida outfit thing plays for Jacksonville. Why? Because I feel like... It's different. It's not Miami. It's not like it's Miami. No, I didn't say it was Miami. That's Florida. I'm saying that's like, that's dirty Florida. That's like that real shit. Yeah, but she's kind of fancy. Yeah, I was thinking... She looks fancy. She looks like she's trying to do Miami. Yeah. That's like that real fancy. Yeah. I was thinking she looks fancy. She looks like she's trying to do Miami. Yeah. She looks like. Yeah. Although I don't know if that hat is Miami. That hat's Jacksonville. The sunglasses and the bedazzled AirPods or whatever. That feels nice. Actually, I don't fucking know.
1:44:19I think the hat is Jacksonville formal. I think that the Miami aspect to this outfit was her thinking, I'm going to go to Florida, and it's an excuse to wear the thing that you would wear in Miami, but they're only going to Jacksonville. Got it. But what I'm saying is I feel like with how bad the Colts are, you got to just, like, you got to wear, like know you got to match the mood it's a funeral you got to yeah the team is just in in hell the fans are in hell shane syken's gonna be fired if he's not fired like i wouldn't be surprised he's fired by the time this podcast is posted counterpoint though five-dimensional chess move we're talking about carly ursa's outfit right now as the focal point instead of the Colts.
1:45:02True. She drew away all the attention. That's true. Good move, Queen. The Colts are bad. They're very bad. I also think that this outfit is just her... She's giving her self-confidence because she is about to fire literally everybody. Oh, the Jacks weren't even playing in Jacksonville. They were playing in Orlando. Oh, it was Orlando. That's right, yeah. So maybe she was going dizzy world or something huh she's that that's her outfit that she puts on when she means business when people are about to get the axe uh the jacks yeah i don't really know what to say other than the jacks are just significantly better than the colts their defense look good tootin is awesome i that was the one thing i wanted to bring up do Do you remember PFT a couple years ago when we had a generational running back draft?
1:45:50Go on. That's what it was called, a generational running back draft. Tootin is the best running back from that draft, and he was drafted in the fourth round. The draft went Jenty with the sixth pick. Amarian Hampton with the 22nd pick. Quinshawn Judkins with the 36th pick. Travion with 38th. RJ Harvey at 60. Caleb Johnson who's already been traded at 83. Then Tootin at 104. That was. I remember. I mean you guys remember. It was two years ago it's like this is the draft all the running backs toon's the best one he's a fucking monster every single day every single game he just goes off yeah and actually the second best well scataboo went at at 10 105 and i i still think scat was good the second best might be my guy manung guy it's in
1:46:42the seventh round. It's crazy to look back at that draft and be like, where are all these guys that were supposed to be impact running backs right away? They fell for the flash early, and all the physical dudes dropped. Yeah. Tootin is a lot of fun to watch. He's a legitimately really good player. And yeah, the Jaguars are just operating on a different level. Yeah, and their defense is flying around. good player and uh yeah the the jaguars are just they're operating on a different level yeah they're they're and their defense is flying around they had that uh they had the 92 yard pick six i mean they just beat and they also did the the thing which maybe liam cone did this on purpose but he's like the jaguars the one thing that's been troubling them is their red zone offense remember
1:47:19when they went to europe and it was like what's going on here with the goal line stuff they're just like we'll just not go in the red zone today they scored from uh 31 yard touchdown a 39 yard touchdown 28 yard touchdown 25 yard touchdown that's a good way to solve it you should never have to go in the red zone so yeah andrew luck was the last quarterback for the Colts to win in Jacksonville. They haven't won in Jacksonville since the Obama administration. Anthony Richardson got in, Hank. Yeah. Looked good. Did he? Like physically. He looked healthy. Drake May, when he was talking about A.J. Brown looking cool in the huddle. Yeah. Anthony Richardson looked good on the field. Okay. Yeah. Okay. It gives you a little boost. Yeah. Sure. pool in the huddle yeah anthony richard should look good on the field okay it's good yeah okay
1:48:03it gives you a little boost yeah sure um are they i hope that they just start them let him play some games might as well become a become a fun bad team oh what did seth deflo say how it's how it started in august how it's currently November, Mollet Seth is coming. Oh, that has nothing to do with the Colts. Did you see the song for this week, though? No. Yeah. It was sad. I wish I could have reversed The Hungry Dog right then. Why didn't you? You could have. It's some dark times in Indianapolis. He posted this on Friday. I know. I just like, I don't know. You posted The Hungry Dog on Sunday morning. We talk about it on the show, though. Yeah. You do this to me every week. Yeah. like I I don't know. You posted the hungry dog on Sunday morning. We talk about it in the show
1:48:43though. Yeah, you do this to me every week. Yeah, listen to how sad this I've never seen Seth. Yeah, it's my fault. This is the Scotty Scheffler picture. Never seen this before. This is our coach. Oh no. We do. This is our Colts What the winner lose Thank God Ballard's fired For the shoe Beat the Jags Let's jack up Jacksonville This is our team Go Colts Yay Come on boys let's get it Just sad. Sad stuff. You know what? Damn. Bring out the tarp. Damn. It's time. Oh, man. Colts are a bummer. They're in hell. What does that mean? Shooting Seth? That's what they do. I was talking about that horse. Where that horse was. So that's what you do with a horse. Do you want to kill Seth the Flow? No, the horse.
1:49:47That's what you do with a sick horse, Hank. That's not a horse, though. That's Seth the Flow. Oh, because I guess he was wearing a mask, but it looked like a horse. Yeah. That was Seth. Yeah. No, I love Seth the Flow. Yeah. I'm just saying, like, this is a bad, bad time. In Indy. Bad time. Okay, let's do the afternoon games. Hank, that was a scary one for you. A little scary. I think I hit the nail on the head when we talked about the show on Friday's show. Patriots, I was not worried about the Patriots winning. I said they probably were not going to cover. They should have covered, but the first half was ugly. They took complete control of the game in the second half. Still got backdoored, but a win is a win, especially in Miami. We struggle in Miami. Tough conditions. No receivers. Drake may have found a way. Yeah. Yeah. It was Pop Douglas, right?
1:51:38And then nobody else? Hunter Henry went out. Kyle Williams. Kyle Williams. Kyle Williams, yeah. Yeah, you guys were really bad in the first half, and then basically just flipped. It was almost like, hey, you're the Patriots, and they're the Dolphins, second half. Like, what are you doing? Yeah, the defense stepped up. They had two interceptions. The second interception, they got called back for an offside, which was not an offside. It was a neutral zone infraction, whatever. Defense stepped up, made Malik Willis be Malik Willis. Which is a smart strategy. And Drake May played great. Second half, he played pretty much a perfect game. Yeah. So it's going to be tough for Glenn. Glenn finds a way yeah glenn might be glenn might just dedicate his next week to figuring out how to how to fix
1:52:29the vikings offense that's interesting if that vikings offense was like halfway halfway not bad yeah you only have to be average yeah halfway not bad that's a special team yeah drake may's uh fifth straight game with three three touchdowns uh sick sick touchdown hezzy hey what uh run for the run touchdown two bombs in terrible conditions again like they did everything except for cover but that was again when it's the when you're playing the dolphins of miami that just happens yeah uh chop robinson is really good yep that's all i got for the i mean the malik willis is malik willis you're right like he had a couple plays he had actually two drives in the first half we're like oh shit The Dolphins, like, they're playing ball control.
1:53:16This is nice. And then it's just, there was that one play where he scrambled left and then tried to square his body to throw it and just got absolutely demolished. Like, dude, you can't. What are you doing? But, yeah, that was a. I actually have not looked. I was about to, but we're at home versus the Packers next week. Whose line is it anyway? Ooh. Patriots. One and a half? How long is A.J. Brown out? Hold on, don't pull it. A.J. Brown, the Eagles, A.J. Brown might never play again. You're blaming the Eagles? Yeah. Go on. I saw people on X the everything app It's all happening on X So who knows the validity of it Being like oh yeah Everyone in the Eagles organization knew His knee was a ticking time bomb
1:54:10Wouldn't that be the Patriots responsibility? I guess Just in good faith It's bad faith You sold him damaged. It's bad faith. Bad faith. You sold him damaged goods. That was bad faith, dude. It's bad faith. That was bad faith. You knew his knee was fucked. Sure. Sorry. Thanks for the first round pick. So he's out for a while? He's out for the next couple weeks, but it feels like it's a while. But you guys win without him. Yeah, but it feels like it's a while. But you guys win without him. Yeah, but it would be great if we had. Imagine how good we would be with him. Well, not with a bad knee. Yeah. I'm going to say Patriots minus two and a half. I'm going to say one and a half. I'm going to say three.
1:54:54Patriots minus three? It is Patriots minus three. Okay. Okay. All right. That's an exciting game. I think that's a fair line. Yeah. But, yeah, we got Packers. We got lines. That looks like it's going to two and a half, by the way. Oh, what's the juice? I'm trying to grab. It looks like that's going to be a Packers. People are going to. It's minus 118 to plus three. So, yeah, I'm trying to bet it. If you like the points, do it now. Wait, it just went. It just went to two and a half. Oh, shit. That's crazy. That was crazy. That was nuts. Yeah. It'll probably bounce around there. Yeah, Hank. I think that whatever adjustment they made at halftime, it worked. These are all promising signs. And I think that you continue to win at halftime, it worked. These are all promising signs.
1:55:39And I think that you continue to win without A.G. Brown. I actually think that the offense might be better without A.G. Brown. Okay. Terrible take, but that's on par for you. Just look at how you played with him. We played like one game with him. Okay. That was a quick grade of a take well the i mean we can just look at oh it's just like pft take on the patriots and it's like most likely a bad take seahawks i mean he's dropped every ball that's been thrown and the thing is you have max tell me i'm right about this when when he's in that huddle yeah you know that you have to get him the ball but yeah you have to involve him force it or else you to involve him, or else you risk losing him and losing his interest in the game.
1:56:22And if he's not catching the ball, actually kind of a downturn for your offense. This sounds like a project for Glenn. Are the Patriots better or worse with A.J. Brown? I mean, I think it's kind of indisputable. So I grade Hanks great in I might take an F-. Wow. The referee crew for this game should be, like, fired, banned, never allowed to referee again. Okay. The Kyle Williams touchdown, he caught it, clearly a catch, ran 10 steps, went in the end zone, it hit his knee in the end zone, and it went out of bounds. Yeah, the crazy part was... They called it an incompletion. Yeah, that was crazy. I do think they should have reviewed it because you don't know where he hit the ball with his knee.
1:57:09Fair. That could have been a problem out of bounds. Fine. No problem. But to call it an incompletion, the fact that it was called on the field as an incompletion... Why do you care so much about it? You ended up getting the call. You've been talking about this all day. And it didn't affect the game at all. If you're a referee and you saw that happen and said incomplete, you should not have a job. That is my point. It affected the game zero. But those referees should not be refereeing other games they also like the the the interception it didn't end up mattering i mean it did end up mattering for like the cover but it they called a guy neutral zone infraction when he just wasn't and that that stopped an interception but the watch the play and tell me how a referee saw this play and called it an incompletion.
1:58:01It did leave the Mike Vrabel probably challenge of the year. Yeah, good throw. Toss of the year. Good toss. Flag toss of the year. Yes, memes? To Hank's point, this crew was moved off of Sunday Night Football from bad officiating and moved on to this game. Wow. Thank you, memes. So it's okay for them to officiate other games, just not the ones that a lot of people watch, is what they're saying. That's what they're saying, yes. Yeah. I actually think what Hank's doing is extremely noble. Hank is saying he saw something bad. He doesn't want another franchise to have to go through with what he just suffered through. Yeah. Thank you, Hank. I'll be keeping an eye on this crew. See something, say something.
1:58:35Keep that energy. Hank, I would like you to grade these officials. Today? And next week. But yes, say something. Keep that energy. Hank, I would like you to grade these officials. Today? And next week. But yes, what's your grade on them today? D. Oh, that's not that bad. Yeah. It's not good. It's not an F. Yeah, F would have been way worse. Yeah, I personally would have given, yeah. Is D passing? I don't think, is D passing? I pass some courses with these yeah i guess you wait do you f is fail yeah yeah i didn't know yeah i guess d is passing these these pass yeah so they're fine i guess but no if you can't you can't they're not eligible you can't get d's and still be eligible they should be they should be they're academically ineligible. They should be. They should be. They're academically ineligible to referee.
1:59:19Okay. Okay. And how do you feel? You have. So you said Packers. Packers lines by Packers Germany by. So that's those are big two games coming up. Yeah. How you feeling about them? Feel good to know. I feel like the vision's back back in our hands. Divisions back in your hands. Split. You split. I feel like the vision's back in our hands. Division's back in your hands. Split. You split. You go into the bye. You come back, regroup for a strong second half of the year. The Bills are 6-1. I know. Okay. Your understanding of where you are in the division. It's how I feel. It's how I feel about where we're at. Oh, this is your feeling of the division. The Bills aren't going to end the season. Right now, you're the seventh seed.
1:59:58I understand that. Where would you say you feel right now? I feel like the Bills are going to lose another game, not against the Patriots, lose their next game against the Patriots, and then we're going to be in the same spot. So where do you feel, though, overall? Are you the two seed, one seed, possibly one seed? Yeah, two or one seed. Yeah. That's how it feels. So you're a seven seed but we also we got we got to get we got to get our receivers back we got it we got to get healthy well no not aj yeah i want to trade aj brown i want aj trade deadline coming up soon trade for jonathan taylor people were talking about uh travion for for Taylor and some picks. I'm not opposed to that. Yeah, I mean, Jonathan Taylor's a really good player.
2:00:43I know. I like this feel versus where you are. Feel versus real. Yeah, feel versus real. It's not always the same. No, it definitely isn't. And we're trending. Big game next week. Fox, is it the game of the week? Yes. So another big. We have no more 1 o'clock games until late December. Tom Brady coming back. Slate kind of stinks next week. Does it? I think Tom Brady. The noon games are. Finding a main game for the noon slate is going to be tough. What's Monday Night Football next week? Monday Night Football is good. Oh,. What's Monday Night Football next week? Monday Night Football is good. Oh, okay. Great Monday Night Football, yeah. These games are terrible. Yeah, bad. Holy shit. Okay, hold on.
2:01:29Let me look. Jets, Chiefs, shootout. Let me look. Broncos, Panthers. Boom. Yeah. If we're trying to find a game that has any type of stakes. That's the best one. Yeah. But that's not a. No. No. Rams commanders. I'm not standing on a soapbox. That's the game. Eagles, Giants, the big rat line of all time. We're going to have to get creative next week with the cave parlay. How are the Giants only two and a half point favorites against the Eagles? That's respect for the Giants, though. No, it's not. That's massive amounts. You were six point favorites. Max, I was saying, considering what Vegas has been putting the Giants at for the last month, that's a massive amount of respect for them. All right.
2:02:15What are the Rams five and a half point favorites? Rams kind of stink. The Rams do kind of stink. So Rams 24, Chargers 9. I mean, they handily beat the Chargers, but it was like a first half sleepwalk where you're like, what's going on here? And then, listen, I love Jim Harbaugh. At this point, like, what are we doing playing for field goals? Not that the chargers were ever going to win this game but the game flipped when it was six to three and it was like a minute and a half left in the first half and they they had a fourth and two in field goal range and they're like let's kick another field goal go up nine three they went up nine three then the rams went down and scored went into half 10-9 scored on the next drive next thing you
2:02:59know it's 17-9 you know i mean like it was just like i don't know i don't know man you guys stink just go for it go for it you know what i think the uh the chargers should do because like it doesn't seem like harbaugh is going to make any big decisions which is kind of strange and they keep asking about mike mcdaniel and he keeps not really answering the questions but he hasn't fired him yet so i don't know what it's going to take and when he does fire him it's going to be way too late even at this point it's already too late he he should just fire all of his kickers the the chargers should just not have a punter they should not have a kicker they shouldn't even have like a long snapper on the team. Use those positions on somebody else, and you're just burn the boats.
2:03:40Yeah. You're just going for it all the time. Fuck it. Who cares? Right. Season's over. Might as well try to score some points. Yeah. They had the rare double insult stat that's gotten them a lot of eyeballs on. Here it is. Yeah. The Chargers fall to 0 and 7 for the first time since the 2000 season their qb that year was jim harbaugh that's that's the first insult stat and then in the same tweet from espn insights chargers have gone 27 straight drives without a td the longest streak in the nfl since the 2024 dolphins straight, who were coached by Mike McDaniel. 27 drives without a touchdown is so many drives. Yeah. That's so many drives. How many games is that? Is that three games? When's the last time they scored a touchdown on offense?
2:04:32Let's see. Oh, my God. They're just such a bummer to watch. Ugh. When are they going to start trading everyone? That's the thing too So I guess they got Khalil Mack, right? They got Ladd McConkie I don't know who else would be of value right now Broncos game was the last time they scored a touchdown Which was three weeks ago Yikes Yeah, it's pretty bad What about Herbert? We haven't seen him I actually think it's become not really stupid picks anymore It's just Big sad picks The picks are so sad now His body language on the sideline Was horrendous At the end of this game Big stupid picks would imply that they're like Somehow stopping them from winning games But there's they're somehow stopping them from winning games,
2:05:19but there's so many things stopping them from winning games. It's just sad picks. You know what I mean? Yeah. Him throwing two picks does not make the Chargers lose the game. But he's bad. And they're bad picks, too. Really bad. They're so sad. I think you got to, if you're a Charger, you're like, number one pick? Are you thinking? You got to at least think about it yeah he's terrible Shane's gonna be so mad no I think he's actually starting to come around on me a little bit what there's there's no doubt about the fact that he's playing completely dog shit football he's terrible right now does that mean that he is a terrible player for next season? Maybe he's just got to get off the chart. Maybe he just needs a new...
2:06:03You almost need to change the team name. This throw sucks. Yeah. It's a bad decision. It's a lazy ball. And it's in a spot in the game where you're still in the fight. In the third quarter, you're down one score. And it's just like you're just gifting the ball to the Rams. Yeah, you've got to change everything about this team. Panic, panic. All right, I'm back. Is there a single bit of silver lining for the Chargers this year? Even a tiny bit, anywhere. I'm struggling to find it. No, I don't got one. I don't think that there is. It's really sad They have Actually they probably could They might be able to beat Joe Fagnano That's what I'm saying Like that's the time They play the Texans next week
2:06:52They'll get fucking throttled Texans off a bye Getting embarrassed They'll get throttled in that game. Then they play the Ravens, then they play the Jets. Yeah. So they might win a game somewhere in there. But, man, is this a bad football team. And, man, is it a bummer to watch. I mean, that game on the 20th. October 11th, last offensive touchdown. That game on December 27th at the Dolphins. Right now, the Dolphins are playing way better football than the Chargers. Oh, yeah. Way better. And they're playing hard, too. There were some times today where I was watching. There would be four or five guys after a dude on the Patriots got wrapped up, tackled, four or five guys finishing the tackle at the same time.
2:07:32They're playing really, really hard in Miami. This Chargers team is not. But that game might be very consequential for draft purposes. Yeah. Ladd McConkie had 86 yards, led the Chargers in receiving yards. The second receiving yards leader for the Chargers were the Rams defenders, 71 interception return yards. Jesus. And how many of those yards from Ladd were on that Hail Mary? Yeah. Yeah. That kind of like luckily. Almost got there, yeah. Luckily landed into his hand. It like farted off somebody else, caught it off the defender's face mask, and then he got tackled on the one-yard line. That's probably, what, 54? The ball was on their own 45. Yeah, 55 yards of that. 54 yards of that. Oh, man.
2:08:22They're such a bummer. Rams, I do, like I said, it was 54 yards. The Rams, they are running the ball again. Remember I said it last week, it's like if they're going to find themselves again, I feel like it's got to be through running. They started slow in this game because they weren't running the ball and then like their first few drives were just ugly and then they're like oh yeah fuck we have karen williams and blake quorum let's let them run and then they ran for like 129 yards in like the last three quarters or two quarters basically uh stafford had kind of a big stupid pick today too. Yeah. Yeah. He's looked off. Yeah. He's looked off. They have the, so they're going to the commanders and then at the Cardinals.
2:09:07Okay. Last game. Broncos 28 chiefs 24. I don't want to overreact, but I do think this was a mini passing of the torch whoa hold on not not in the way you think i'm thinking not like oh the broncos are just gonna win the afc west for the next 10 years and like that it's a passing of the torch in the fourth quarter broncos dark magic outlasting the Chiefs dark magic because we were watching that game together, Hank, in the gambling cave. When the Chiefs got to the goal line at the end of the game, we're like, it's the Chiefs. They score here every time. And then they just didn't. And I was like, what the fuck was that? You know? And Bucker, who who's bad he's just bad they have to cut him he that 54 yard field goal to put him up six he misses that gives the
2:10:08broncos a short field it's like what's what's more stronger the like the these dark arts of the broncos being like really bad on offense for, for big stretches of a game and then showing up in the fourth quarter or the chiefs always finding a way to win a game. And today the Broncos won out. You can't tell me that on a game winning T touchdown. Yeah, you can't, you can't call that on a game winning touchdown. Oh yeah. Wait, you can't because it's us, the chiefs. We, we get no calls on the Chiefs. That's Brittany Mahomes. That's PFT doing Brittany Mahomes. After the game. I love that. I love her. God bless her for saying that, for somehow twisting this world into a prism where she looks at it
2:10:50and she thinks that the Chiefs, if there's one thing about them, it's that the refs hate them. Yeah. I'm glad that she can have that take. Do you know what I'm saying, though? I know what what you're saying at the end of that game i was expecting there was one play before um the very last one might have been second down my home scrambles to his right he always scores there he always scores there always finds somebody that's drifting across late where he throws across his body exactly works out or he does like a little forward pitch underhanded he does something that works out there he got flushed out of the pocket and you're like, okay, here comes the Mahomes scramble or the Mahomes. Oh, he's going to throw it backwards to Kelsey standing by himself.
2:11:26And it just didn't happen. And also, was it Emmitt Johnson, number 10, who looked like on Halloween he was dressed up as slutty Isaiah Pacheco because he had the entire elbow pads and all that shit that looked exactly like Pacheco. When he got going a little bit, I was like, okay, well, yeah, it's going to happen again. The Chiefs are going to pull away with this one. The Chiefs are inevitable. But the Broncos' defense looks like a completely different unit since getting Cooper back. Yeah, and from week one, and Sertan's back as well. Yeah. But I just, I don't know. I probably am overreacting, but I just couldn't believe the Chiefs didn't win that game. Like that was, and it's not like the Broncos.
2:12:06I'm very high on the Broncos. I bet the Broncos this game. I thought the Broncos were going to win this game. But I think Broncos fans would agree with me. When the Chiefs are at the goal line with 20 seconds left, they always win those games and they just didn't. And also, what was up with Kenneth Walker's third down run? Yeah, really bad. It looked like he was, like, wasting time. Really bad. So weird. Now, he had some other really nice runs. He got bottled up today. Like, that was actually the big story is the Chiefs offense, when he gets bottled up, it's just, you know, the, it, it's, it's a lot tougher to, for everything to move. They don't have the wide receivers and the, and the Broncos.
2:12:44Yeah. Their defense is awesome. And Bo Nix just, just let, give him a chance. I do think he's playing better. I really do. I think he's, he's throwing the ball. He's taking risks. He's not, you know, keeping the ball. He's not doing the, the, the Seahawks game where it was just like, what are you even watching? There's still a lot of, like, you could even see in watching this game, Broncos fans, there was some boos. There was some, like, groans because there were definitely a few three and outs where you're like, what the fuck? I think there was one specific one in the third quarter when it was like, it was like third and eight and Bo Nix threw a pass that was four yards that was fully defended,
2:13:24and everyone was just like, what the fuck is this? But guess what? When it gets late in the game, he has three times he's come back from double digits in the fourth quarter in his career. In terms of ways that you can win a game, I think that a goal line stand against any offense really, but in this case especially against the Kansas City Chiefs, like a generationally great offense, that has the potential to be a springboard win like none other. Yeah. Like a four-down goal line stand against a divisional opponent in front of your home crowd, that's something that I feel like a lot of teams build off of and just get way, way better from that point. Yeah. I mean, I think the Broncos are very good.
2:14:05I think it's just Bo Nix. Like, they won this game. They still had under 300 yards in offense. They went two for 11 on third down. There's still a lot of things they got to fix, but their defense gives them a chance in every single game, and their defense won the game at the end with that goal line stand and bo nicks oh my god that premature celebration he i don't think he knew what down it was no on on third down when the when the when uh the broncos stood up uh kenneth walker he was going nuts like they had won the game and that would have been a very bad clip going forward yeah because i don't know if he knew exactly what what what the down and distance was but yeah good game for pro knicks good game for the broncos they now have like the afc west is all the way this was
2:14:51such a big swing game in terms of the afc west and where it was going because now they they've tied the they're already done with their season series and they're both sitting at six and two, right? Are they both six and two? I think the bra. Oh no. The chiefs had a buy. So Broncos are ahead of them. Yes. Broncos are six and two chiefs are four, five and two. Yep. Yeah. Are you, well, I guess that you're, I know who you're more scared of It's definitely still the Chiefs right Yeah But What about Going to Mile High Oh you're the one You're gonna be the one or the two seed We did it last year Yeah But We went to Mile High last year Stitty AFC Championship Snowstorm Stitty Yeah With a tail Allegedly
2:15:38Steve's got a tail Remember the tail You guys like You're You're Flip flopping on Bo Nix He's still steady. Yeah. With a tail. Allegedly. He's got a tail. Remember the tail? You guys, like, you're flip-flopping on Bo Nix. Oh, no, I've never flip-flopped. No, I still don't think he's very good. I think he's playing better. So it's like, why would I be more worried about him than Mahomes? But wait, wait, wait. We had this conversation two weeks ago, because you accused me of this two weeks ago. You're like, how are the Broncos Super Bowl contenders when you think Bo Nix is bad bad because their defense is so good and if bonics can play just average they're a dangerous team and he's started to play a little bit closer to
2:16:10average like it still doesn't look great but he has played closer to average he also does feel more comfortable moving around. He's more dynamic. You have to see that, right? Yeah. No, I mean, the Broncos are a good team. The defense is really, really good. Who I'd rather play, Broncos or Chiefs? It's Broncos. Yeah, but, I mean, were you not shocked by that Chiefs ending? Felt like it was like, how is this possible? The regular season, if it's the playoffs, it's going to go differently. That's fair. Yeah, I feel like altitude maybe. Andy Reid doesn't operate well in thin air. He needs that air to be like a milkshake. Something he can chew on. They got to cut Bucker. Yeah, so... He's so bad.
2:16:54When they brought in Tucker, did you hear J.J. Watt talking about it in the booth? They're pretty much saying Andy Reid brought him in because the only way that kickers can improve is if you bring in somebody to challenge him. So they had no other option than to bring in Justin Tucker this week. There were other options for sure that you could have gone with. For sure. But it is a move. I feel like it was maybe a fake move and and buckner might have sniffed it out because he knew that andy reed probably wouldn't love to make justin tucker the starting kicker but he didn't play bad again and then he played that's what i'm saying so he was like okay it's a bluff yeah he's been bad he i think two for seven on kicks 50 yards plus like if he makes that kick that it was that
2:17:40was the swing he misses the kick they don't go up six and not only that more importantly the broncos which their offense wasn't like like i said under 300 yards two for 11 on third down it's not like they were able to just drive the length of the field consistently, you gave them the ball at the 50-yard line. Yeah. And they went and scored. So the Broncos, they just had Bo Nix, fourth quarter, fourth quarter Bo, fourth quarter Bo. Never count him out. It's crazy that they're back in a weird Tebow universe. Never count him out. Yep. I still don't think he's very good but but he wins games and if you can keep close and he can get a little hot it's nuts yeah i mean even the the game winning touchdown that was a it was a nice pass but it was a screen that he that that he like broke who
2:18:34was that was it coleman yeah jonah coleman broke 51 yards. Yeah. It wasn't like some deep, deep bomb or some methodical drive down the field, but that's just what he does. That's specialness of Bo. He played clean enough. Just when you think he's the worst quarterback in the league, that's when he's about to do something special. Yeah, and I am high on the Broncos. I do think they're very good just because of their defense, and they find ways to win games. And it's just like I kind of throw out that first week loss to the Chiefs where they just played basically the worst defensive game they could possibly play. Yeah. And then since then, they've been a very good team. You see Sean Payton and one of his assistants
2:19:12almost get into a fight on the sideline? No. That was great. I feel like that's when Sean Payton, that's when he comes alive. Getting angry, yeah. When somebody yells at him on his own team he likes that shit yeah he thrives in chaos you do have uh you play them week 17 hank so that'll be could be a significant game for seating where's that that is in new england nice not mile high. Okay. Last game. Last question. Who's back? Sorry. Rowback question. R-H-O-B-A-C-K.com. Promo code take. 20% off your first purchase. Q-Zips, polos, hoodies, joggers, shorts. Rowback.com. Promo code take. Max, where are you at with Nick Sirianni right now? We got no players. It's hard. It's hard. But is this... It felt like you had something you were about to say
2:20:03and you didn't say it. I feel like you can't... Can't what? If you guys just don't win any other... Like, at some point... I'm looking at the schedule. I put the over-under at one and a half. More wins? More wins. You guys don't have an NFL roster right now. We don't. Our offense... But your defense does. That's what's concerning to me. Everyone's hurt on offense. The defense has quit. That's a concern. Jalen Carter did play much better today after he was horrendous last week. He did get a sack, and he was blowing up the D-line a little. But Jordan Davis still nowhere to be found. Cooper Regine was a little bit better today, but then, again, Andrew Cooper goes down. That's another safety that we lost.
2:20:58Zach Bond doesn't look the same. He's getting older. It looks like the defense has kind of given up. It was inflated a little bit. It was 19 points for most of that game. Yeah. And then, you know. It got out of hand. But I think that they played well enough to win that game with a normal offense, but the offense is so bad, and it's like, fuck. It must be so demoralizing for that defense, and I guess that's on Sirianni to keep the defense engaged. I don't know. It's frustrating. It's a season from hell. The offense sucks. Tanner McKee is not a very good quarterback. We're playing without our top two receivers, without our top five running backs. The O-line is a problem, but I also think Tanner McKee,
2:21:48he's so bad in the pocket. He almost moves into sacks instead of evading them. Yeah, he does. Which is something that we took for granted with Jalen Hurts so much because he's very good at getting out of the way, and then he normally just throws it away, but at least he doesn't take the sack. I don't know. Sirianni, I guess you've got to keep the defense more engaged. That's your job as a head coach of, like, keeping the players in it, even though when things get tough. But it's tough. It's tough to, like, really judge a coach when the amount of injuries that they've had is insane. Do you think he's lost the locker room? That's a question for the locker room. Yeah, you can ask that question at the locker room.
2:22:44PFT, can we pull up the odds to see the NFC East odds? I don't think you can rule out you guys having a chance. I don't want to do this to myself. Why not? Memes thinks you've already done this to yourself. Yeah, I don't know why. 100% you've already done this to yourself. Why do you say that? That's what Memes would say? After we stopped recording on Riverside Tuesday night, him and Jacob were going back and forth on all the scenarios. They're locked in. That's not a bad thing. No, it's one thing to discuss scenarios. It's another thing to be locked in and believe in the scenarios. I'm not hiding my feelings. It's a podcast. Open up to the world. I'm not. Let's see, what are the odds for the NFC East right now?
2:23:22Plus 560. And Cowboys, 235. I didn't know that, memes. Because memes is telling me, he's like, yeah, you... I did not... That's okay, why not? It's okay to play the scenarios, because I'll be completely honest with you, I don't think that the team is very good. What we watched tonight was two bad teams playing football against each other. The commanders looked serviceable at times on offense, but still a shitload of penalties, a shitload of drops. I can't remember watching a team that has this many pre-snap penalties, and we just can't figure it out for some reason when it comes to illegal formations, all this stuff. We just keep getting flagged, and it's taken taken away it's throwing the offense out of rhythm we never feel like we've
2:24:04got momentum going the second half was pretty good um but i just i don't believe that the team is uh anywhere near close to being able to compete for a division right now granted it's probably the worst division in football but we have to have ground to make up. We're pretty far behind. We're two games behind the Giants, and I think if you looked at the schedule from here on out, we've got some winnable games, but I also think that every game that I would label as being winnable would be one where the other team would look at the commanders and say, that's a winnable game for us. So, yes, we should be able to beat the Titans, but the Titans are playing good now. We should be able to beat the Cardinals.
2:24:45The Cardinals are playing good now. The Texans actually look like dog shit, but they might be a different team by mid-December. And then we finish out with the Falcons, the Vikings, the Jaguars, and the Cowboys. So I don't think that – I think the hole is too deep for the Commanders to win this division. Even if we did, I would highly doubt that we'd be able to do anything in the playoffs. So, yeah, I'm not – it's great to win these games. I'm glad that we have Jaden's first win in what, like, how many days was it? 300, 390-something days? Memes had the exact yeah you did you knew it real quick ripped it right in your face it was 392 392 days so that that's good i'm glad but as far as i'm concerned um if this team wins too many games i think that would be
2:25:35possibly detrimental to the future of the team because it's pretty clear that Dan Quinn, nice guy, really good defensive coach, great defensive coordinator, seems like an awesome friend to have, not really having the brain to be a head coach. I think we've got a brain problem. You never want to have a brain problem. And even if you win a bunch of games and you limp into the playoffs and you lose by 15 points in the first round, that is not going to make the brain problem go away. And I would love for Dan Quinn to be the defensive coordinator. He's just not a head coach. That's kind of where I'm at. So, truthfully, technically it is possible for us to get in. I will get caught up if we rattle off a few wins.
2:26:24Absolutely. 100%. If we beat the Rams next week. If we beat the Rams next week, I'm back. And, in fact, I think if we beat the Rams, Sean McVay would have to look at that and say, unfinished business, maybe I come back to D.C. Be their next head coach. Definitely. Definitely. That would probably be a pretty attractive spot. Have to. If we beat the Rams, I'm all in. I'm balls deep in, in at that point. But I don't think that's going to happen. I think we got a long way to go. Okay. Should we do who's back the week? Finish up? Twisted T. It's football season. We've never been more ready for game day. Twisted Tea, it's a great drink. Okay, Hank, who's back of the week? Who's back of the week is darkness. First one. Yeah. Yep. Clocks turned back or forward. And now it's going to be dark at four o'clock. Yeah, real dark.
2:27:52Although it was getting a little I don't like that we lose the I don't like that it gets dark so early or yeah so early in the afternoon it was getting a little crazy how dark it was when I woke up in the morning maybe that's just me because I was waking up earlier but like it would be 7 o'clock and it would still be dark it's like what the fuck we need some lightness here yeah probably a personal problem probably a personal problem you're going to have the reverse this week where like you walk out of work at no i know i know no i'm on your side because there were times where i would wake up and i would look outside and be like oh it's pitch black like i still got like five more hours yeah and i would look out and it would be like oh fuck i got yeah for what different
2:28:33for me than for you but it would still be like yeah oh i only got one more hour like that sucks yeah yeah like for wake up barstool you open your eyes and it's it looks like, oh, I only got one more hour. Like, that sucks. Yeah, like for wake-up barstool, you open your eyes, and it looks like it's midnight outside. There's nothing worse than waking up when it's still pitch black. Yeah, my least favorite time of year would be when I would have to go to work, and I would leave. It would be dark outside, and then I would leave work to go home, and it would be dark outside again. And then you would just never see the sun. That's a bummer of a time of year. Yeah. Hello, darkness, my old friend. My other who's back is college basketball.
2:29:05Yeah. I dressed up as a pope last night for Halloween. Next time he fired up on the cats. I was fired up on the cats and they just collapsed. Collapsed in Rome. It's too early to be playing college basketball. You were so excited for this game. Yeah, well, I don't know, man. My football season fucking sucks. Thank God for the Sixers. They're a wagon. I was looking forward to this. I love Villanova basketball, and they turned the ball over 20 times. 20 turnovers. We can fix that. Yeah, it's early, and none of these guys have played together. It's hard to judge college basketball these days. Oh, definitely. None of these guys have played any basketball together. Yeah, the continuity is early in the season.
2:29:49You just have no idea what to expect. It's kind of a tough look for Villanova, I think, to go all the way to Rome for this game, and the Pope doesn't even show up. Oh, he didn't? Yeah, he had other stuff to do. I was arguing about this with other people. They did say that it's probably tough for the Pope to get to a basketball game on a Sunday. But then why'd they go to fucking Rome? That's a good question. It feels a little desperate on Villanova's part. Yeah. Why does the NFL go to Europe not not for one specific person yeah look it felt like a wide range of people new fans to the yeah grow the game they already have a fan in the pope and the pope was like uh yeah can't really make it i hope you understand like oh like
2:30:36hit me up if you guys are ever in rome and they're like, hey, we're here. Yeah. And he's like, oh. I was making this argument as well. He's like, I got some other plans. Do you think you would be able to go to this game if it was in Chicago on a Sunday? And I said, no. Yes, you would. If it was at 8.30? 8.30 in the morning, you would, for sure. But if it was, if it was 8.30 in the morning, you would have. Time change? I think we're talking about time change right now. But you would have, 8.30 in the morning. But there's not 8.30 in the morning, you would have. Time change? I think we're talking about time change right now. But you would have, 8.30 in the morning. But there's not 8.30 in the morning.
2:31:02The Bears have Monday Night Football. Pope didn't have to watch that. What? I'm saying, he could be at the game. I would assume that the Pope would miss Villanova on a Sunday because he wanted to watch the Bears. Oh. It sounds like the Pope doesn't really care about villanova basketball no that's what that's what hank was saying i think he's i think he he has other obligations maybe he was like i don't want to i don't want to go he's the pope maybe he's like i don't want to go rooted against villanova it's a sunday against the way uh better like religious school in notre dame he might have been rooting for notre dame Notre Dame, they pray. It kind of reminds me of when Tom Brady was talking about the Super Bowl.
2:31:43He's like, I don't really have a dog in the fight. It's like, wait, I thought that you would because they asked the Pope about it. He goes, well, I grew up south side Chicago, so I heard go Irish all the time. And that was a team that I always kind of liked. The Pope turned his back on Nova. You just made up that second part? But it could have. Wait, what? He said that was the team that I kind of liked the Pope turned his back on Nova. You just you just made up that second part. But it could have. Wait, what? He said that was the team that I kind of liked. Never said that. When they asked him about the Irish, he goes, growing up on the south side of Chicago. You heard people say go Irish. And so you added that was the team that I like.
2:32:11Correct. That's not that's not a direct quote. But he was saying that as an example of his admiration for Notre Dame. And then he followed up with. And also, I graduated before his Pope. I graduated from Villanova. as an example of his admiration for Notre Dame. And then he followed it up with, and also... I graduated from Villanova. Before I was Pope, I graduated from Villanova. So he was saying he's got a connection to both sides. He said that he has an opinion, but he's not allowed to speak on that. He said he doesn't take sides. He said the Pope doesn't take sides. And who's the Pope? And then he said Prevost has other opinions. And he is Prevost. I thought he was the Pope. He is. They're.
2:32:46The Pope doesn't take. Checkmate. All right. Fuck you guys, man. Let's talk about Jordan. When are we going to do that? It's going to be my year's back. True love. I don't know how we went through all of that. Jordan. When are we going to do that? When are we going to do that? It's going to be my who's back. I don't know how we went through all of that and we didn't get... It's going to be my who's back. Let's do it. Okay, who's back? Jordan's back. On the market. Open for business, possibly. This, allegedly. Let me just say that if she is spoken for, if there's still an item, all due respect to them, I'll take back everything you're about to say. If they are broken up, is she the most eligible
2:33:25bachelorette in America? Yeah. Number one. Hank, so the story came out that they've been broken up for a year. That doesn't make sense on the timeline. Can we all agree on that? Yes. Okay. Because we interviewed Belichick in what, May? Pretty sure they were dating then. Well, she did ask Bill about the cheesesteak. Yeah, right. And I think they were at recruiting visits as late as August together, like at high school games. Yeah, but like their romantic relationship you know didn't work out but bill recognized her as like an asset to the program that would make sense and you know he'll he'll he tries to make anything work okay so you can if you can be an asset to the team he'll keep you around so if but if they did break up whose side are you taking
2:34:18bills oh come on, dude. It's our queen. So you never really liked her? Yeah. No. You're the guy who bashes his friend's girlfriend the minute they break up. What if they get back together and you send all that shit? That's going to be really awkward. Yeah. I support whatever Bill's decisions he makes. Well, what if he got broken up with? Then fuck her. No, but that's not his decision what if he wants to get back with her and then he gets back with her you just said fuck her and then they get back together that's gonna be awkward i guess but like i i got my boys back i don't know what you want me to say i'll be like sorry dude i had your back yeah but you don't want to go too hard you shouldn't have said fuck her That's fucked up. You said you gave me a hypothetical.
2:35:05Yeah, if she broke up with Bill, but Bill's still in love with her, and they're going to eventually get back together. But unfortunately, they're going to get back together, and then Jordan's going to be like, I'm going to take you back, Bill. Bill's like, oh, my God, thank God. I wanted to be back with you this whole time. And then Jordan says, but one thing, can I play this clip for you? And then plays you saying, fuck her. Well, then I would hope that she played the beginning where it showed the context. Bill's all about the context. No, you presented a hypothetical. I did not. I did not say fuck her. I think you probably broke them up. If they weren't broken up before, they're broken up now.
2:35:38I have a possible scenario here that I think would really make Hank sound like a jerk. you just were unprompted. You gave me a hypothetical and I replied. I think it would really make Hank sound like a jerk. What if they're in a secret relationship right now? Which is very possible because it was such a headline grabber. And then, you know, she was always kind of a distraction for Bill where they would ask him questions about her all the time. Could be a secret relationship. And so he might have said... You guys didn't ask her questions about her. That's true. Neither did you. Could be a secret relationship. And so he might have said... You guys didn't ask her questions about her. That's true.
2:36:00Neither did you. You had a chance to. I don't give a... I wasn't worried about her. I was worried about asking about the Patriots. But all I'm saying is... You guys talk about her all the time. What if that's a strategy where he's just like... You guys were too scared to ask anything about her in the interview. No, she's a lightning rod. You were too. I don't... I never brought her up she's not like someone that i have ever cared about talking about you guys love talking about her because we love when presenting the opportunity didn't say a word because she's a philosopher and a business owner and an entrepreneur and a founder good for her and a queen you don't like her i do like her no sounds like i don't. I don't. I am not worried. I'm a sports guy.
2:36:39I'm not worried about this gossipy nonsense. Yeah. You guys are all caught up in the tabloids and the gossip. And he said, she said, I'm worried about what's on the field. It's just ball. Yeah. Well, I'm saying I think that this might be a play where they're like, let's pretend to break up so people stop asking me about you. And then I think the play work because UNC is way better. They are. They should have fucking beaten Miami. I know. They're right there. But yeah, they're playing good. Bill's locked in right now. Married to the game. I think they might even be married. It might be like a secret marriage, but let's just not tell the world. Let's tell everyone we broke up. Good for them. Happy for them.
2:37:19Max, what do you think about that? Did that satisfy your... Yeah, that was good. I like that. If fully... No more Pope talk? Yeah. If it covered up the fact that the Pope turned his back on Villanova? Pretty much condemned them to hell. Do you win that game if the Pope's there? Yes. I think so. Yeah. Yeah, probably. So then what the hell? if the Pope's there? Yes. I think so. Yeah. Yeah, probably. So then what the hell? Why is he not there? It's Sunday, and he's the Pope. Imagine the start of the second half, like you hear an organ play. Oh, like Steve Austin? Yeah. Pope shows up. It's Sunday, and he's the Pope. How long does he do? One service? Like, quick hour? Can you imagine the pressure
2:38:02the referees would have felt if the Pope walks in? Yeah, he just sits there and he's like, well, don't love that call. I guarantee you they're all Catholic there. He just sits there with a little notepad? Yeah. What was your name again? Bless you. Okay. Yeah, bless your heart. Interesting. Yeah, the Pope's got to be there. It's really, it's sad for the university. What, did you say like this is the worst thing that's ever happened in Rome, Max, or just disaster? I said disaster in Rome. All right, my who's back was going to be college basketball and Jordan, so I don't know what else to say. Is there anything else to say about college basketball? What other games were there? High Point is playing Liberty right now.
2:38:46And then we have the 24-hour madness, I think, on Monday, where I think there's a game at like 2 in the morning. Yeah. And then, yeah, we're going. Love it. So excited. Oh, there we go. You know what? Who's back? MLB Awards. They're going to start rolling them out at the most random times possible. Yeah, gold gloves tonight. Gold gloves. I love baseball. It's so stupid. They're just like, oh, here's a day. Why don't we just throw an award at you? We're not going to tell you when it's coming, who's winning. We're just going to throw it out there. Remember us? We're baseball. Yeah. All right, Zach, finish this off. If we're talking baseball, my expectant week will be to talk comment sections because Bryce Harper was getting active.
2:39:31What? Yeah, you guys don't want to talk about this. Why? Here's a couple comments. One commenter made a comment that was like, I believe his new offseason is going to be between March and October. Bryce Harper's like, it will be this year. If he has any good info, he's saying no baseball all year next year. And then he also acknowledged that he prefers the offseason over the regular season. Oh, no. Somebody said Bryce acts like he enjoys the offseason more than the regular season. He said this is true. Oh, no, Max. Let's talk about that there's not going to be a season next year. That's what Bryce is doing. Yeah, he's talking to SnuggleBear0808. Let's kick into Bryce. Bryce, do you have any comments?
2:40:13Yeah, SnuggleBear0808 asked, It seems like March through October is the offseason. Bryce said, It will be this year. He also says that he likes the offseason more than the season. This is true. Negotiation tactic. Okay. That he likes not playing. He doesn't need to play baseball anymore. Yeah. No, that's a good first try. That's a good point. That's a good point, Matt. That was good. Yeah, that's legit. What is, what's the date when the lockout would officially start? Would that be early December? Yeah. I think the owners meeting is coming up. They moved it up. I think it's like December 1st or something. Yeah. He also, do you remember there was, I don't know if it was this past year. He kicked out Manfred out of the...
2:41:00He kicked out Manfred of the clubhouse. That rocked. Yes. I love it. When he told him, like, get the fuck out of our clubhouse. So I think he's pretty adamant against the no salary cap and is willing to fight. He's adamant against the salary cap. Yes, yeah. Yeah. One thing I didn't realize about baseball and whenever there's a lockout or anything like that, the lengths that they have to go to as the league by the letter of the law, all the team's websites will no longer feature pictures of the players. They'll all be like the generic gray avatars. Major League Baseball, the MLB network will not be allowed to use any players names. That's crazy. Across their programming. So they're going to have to figure out a way to do, like,
2:41:44months' worth of original programming without saying the names of any ballplayers. That's going to be fun to watch. Oh, man. It's not happening. We're going to have baseball. I've decided that already. Started that already. We're fine. Zach, finish us off. Double finish off. I've decided that already. Started that already. We're fine. We're fine. Zach, finish us off. Double finish off. Did you see that? What? That was his who's back. What? You're saying finish us off. Oh, yeah. That was his who's back. I'm sorry. I got lost. Positive note. Double finish you off. Yeah, finish me off twice. There's more stuff on the Everything app. It's saying the bear stadium probably aren't tonight. Oh yeah.
2:42:21I did. That happened. I think it was, it was always going to be there. I've said it. It's, it was always going to be there. Kevin Warren finally got kicked out of the meetings. Pat Ryan is the adult. He met with Goodell. He met with the Illinois lawmakers. Indiana was always a ruse. And I think, I actually think the problem was Kevin Warren fell for it. That was the issue. Well, his job. He did his job. No, but he fell for Indiana. He fell for the NFL being okay with the Bears moving to Indiana. Which is what makes it absolutely the best job that he could have done. He bought into it. He was like, I've got this great deal. And then the Bears were like, okay, we kept you in the dark this whole time but that will do you got us the most enormous amount of leverage we could ever ask for so job well done
2:43:08kevin now please leave and then goodell was like uh you guys aren't moving indiana and and then pat ryan who's a minority holder in the bears who i think is has the largest stake that's not a mccaskey he's he's the one who built the new who I think has the largest stake that's not a McCaskey. He's the one who built the new stadium at Northwestern. Great guy. And he basically was like, I'll take over from here. I'll be the adult. I'll meet with Cadell. Kevin Warren, you can just, you know, go do something. Go choose, you know, what you're going to put in each suite. What high top tables you're going to put in each suite. And yeah, they're going to do Illinois. And Monday Night Football, I'm very excited.
2:43:43We'll see. Zach. Finish this off. Finish this off, Zach. Monday Night Football preview, Bucks 24, Bears 7. That's Sunday Night Football. Sunday Night Football preview next week. Monday Night Football is Seahawks-Bears. My bad. You said Monday. I was thinking Sunday. We're talking stadiums. They're going to be here, as you can see. Zach? Zach, finish this off. Finish this off one more time. 29. Oh. No. No. False start. I'm going to take 29, Big Cat. Nice. I'm going to take 52. I'm going to take... I'm going to take 23. 10. 18. 4. 13. 69. 7. Jacob, what were we saying with the scenarios? Ask him about that. He said, how about that loss this week? What were the scenario talks that we were doing on Tuesday?
2:44:30Okay. Where Memes was listening and eavesdropping very rudely. Yeah, we just did a couple hypotheticals. Like, we almost beat the 49ers, and we're talking about how that was a close game. That's not a hypothetical. Yeah, if we beat the 49ers previously. But what was said, if you won tonight. We were saying that. These aren't bad things, by the way. Everyone should do this. Yeah, it was very simple stuff. Memes is overblowing it. We were just talking about what could have happened and what could happen in the future. It was very highly retroactive looking at games that we should have won and where we should have won. The main point was we don't want to win too many games because the team's got to go.
2:45:08There you go. There you go, Memes. There you go. What? Memes, fake news, Memes. What? That was a fake news meme. If you win tonight. 78. We can make a little bit of a run. 78. Yeah. A little bit of a run. But we don't want to make a big enough of a run. Why? Remarkably consistent. Because we want DQ gone. Yeah. That was the main message. Names, you're a messy bitch. I'm not a messy bitch. You're a trash. You guys are acting like losers. You're a stirrup pup, Names. Yeah. Max is a loser. I'm a loser. You guys are acting like losers. I'm a loser. I'm a loser. You guys are acting like losers. Shane also loses. Shane doesn't have a win. Justin Herbert also loses. Amy! Amy! Anyone? Anyone? Amy. Happy birthday to Jordan Love.
