Is Jon Ossoff the 2028 Democratic frontrunner, according to Preet Bharara's panel?

Charlie Sykes called Jon Ossoff the breakout star heading into 2028 and said a Democrat winning the Georgia governorship matters, because Ossoff can now run without giving up his Senate seat. Sykes added a caveat: reporters say the private Ossoff in the Senate is not quite the figure seen on stage. The panel also praised James Talarico's victory speech in Texas, where Republicans lost down the ballot.

• Ossoff's speech described the result as the first light of dawn, which one panelist heard as channelling Reagan.
• Talarico's lectern carried the words love thy neighbor, which Bharara cited as a sign of hopeful politics.
• Sykes said Democrats had now turned Georgia into a blue state.
