Question

Why does Daniel Cox say young men and women are splitting apart politically?

Answered from Why Men & Women Are Giving Up On Each Other - Daniel Cox - #1166 · Modern Wisdom · 2026-10-22

Daniel Cox says that when he looked at Gallup data in 2022, young men and women began diverging sharply on ideology around 2016. His reading is that young women became far more liberal while young men stayed fairly flat. Feminist identity shows the same pattern: older generations are within about five points by sex, while in Generation Z a majority of women call themselves feminists against about 40% of men.
