Question

What is Steve Huynh's focus block method for becoming a top performer?

Answered from Once You Understand This, You'll Stop Working Hard · A Life Engineered · 2026-11-02

Steve Huynh recommends blocking 60 to 90 minutes a day for a single priority project with no email or Slack. During the block only two things are allowed: doing the work or doing nothing at all, with no phone, snacks or fidgeting. He says one such block a day puts most people in the top 10% of performers, and two blocks a day the top 1%, because everyone else at work is distracted.
